Don't know what he said, but Coastal coach getting tossed in the first inning of the most important game of the season is pretty poor on him imo.and then compounding it by having to sit out a potential game 3. Wow. If course the way this game is going there probably won't be a game 3.

All the players you’re talking about are good players and I would love for them to be gators, but what I’m saying is none strike fear in the imposing team/opposing coach beyond Irish. Again, Coach did a great job with this team.
umpire warned head coach several times. Was almost pleading with him to stop. I thought Coastal Head Coach deserved it. Almost knocked an umpire over.
maybe not but you stated Ike was only hitter in lineup,,blatanly false. by far the hottest hitter going into post season was Guevara,, who tweaked a knee in game 1 of post season. I finally found the coastal 'break' you mentioned..
Maybe, but again not one of those hitters you mention strike fear in opposing coaches minds as I have mentioned. Great SEC coaches are focused on limiting and being careful with Irish, they aren’t worried about Bub Terrell or the other guys mentioned. When the lights are on which one of those guys carried their team to victory over Coastal? We agree on no shutdown pitcher as that’s a big one. For me seeing them lose to UAB twice, ODU, and Holy Cross, teams with a combine record of 11 games under 500 kind of sold me early that they weren’t a great team or would not be a great team. I get losing a game or 2 to bad mid majors ( not sure UAB or ODU are mid majors) but not 4.
Ike was arguably best hitter in country, so obviously the focal point. But had tons of help around him,, why hit 304 as team(3rd sec) Again the pitching was certainly not on par w/ bats, but Dutton was asa good as anyone until very end, so for 90% of season they did have a dominant ace. ask lsu vols etc. Also Carson Myers 2.77 was 1st out of pen and had second most IP on team. Pitching was so much improved from last season I find it hard to complain much. But should be even better next year, w/ the returning FR & couple nice portal gets already. On the early season loses. you can blame Cade Fisher for couple of those..lol H cross a touney team,, ODU down but hosted recently. UAB was a walk off at their place. LSU lost to Omaha & NW St.. all irrelevant in grand scheme imo. They also beat Org St & swept pretty good Wright St early on.. all equaled #1 sos. & #2 rpi reg season. And if lsu holds on, AU swept the champs,, the season keeps getting better...
