At least, hopefully we can all agree that law enforcement did a great job in capturing him before he could attack any other politicians/doctors, etc on his kill list.

Some of MAGA have become outright nasty and bad people, including those who proclaim theirselves to be Christian (presumably Mormon in this case).

It’s no wonder fringe figures get triggered and do crazy stuff when you have lawmakers saying such things - after someone was assassinated.

The really weird thing is the assassin was a die hard Trump supporter and anti abortion zealot.

The targeted shootings on Sunday that killed Democratic State Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband and injured State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife heightened security concerns on Capitol Hill and shook Minnesota lawmakers who knew the victims. Lawmakers largely united to condemn the violence—as did Lee on his official social-media profiles. But on his personal @basedmikelee X account, Lee posted several messages connecting the shootings to “Marxists” and Democratic Gov. Tim Walz.

“This is what happens when Marxists don’t get their way,” he posted alongside a photo of the suspect. “Nightmare on Waltz street,” he wrote in another post, an apparent reference to Walz. “Marxism is a deadly mental illness,” he wrote in response to photos of papers reading “No Kings” found in the suspect’s car.

 

Another call for political violence by the left? Thank good this guy didn’t connect with the nut job state rep that seemingly wanted to decapitate the potus.

Stinson was qualified as a sharpshooter, according to court documents. A statement from the Mayday Movement USA, a group highly critical of President Trump, claimed Stinson was their founder and claimed the charges don't align with his mission or he as an individual.

On June 13, 2025, a Federal Bureau of Investigation Task Force Officer submitted a 19-page affidavit accusing Stinson of making threats against the President between April 4, 2020, and June 11, 2025.

Stinson's social media activity has come under scrutiny for advocating violence. He has self-identified as a member of ANTIFA on his Bluesky and X accounts.

On April 6, 2020, Stinson posted on Bluesky, " What a f***ing moron. Would someone just pull the proverbial trigger, please” and followed with an additional post the same day, reading: “I would do it. I would take the fall to save America. Too bad I don’t have the operational skills to pull it off. I am willing to serve in a support capacity for someone else with the skills to take care of things.”

 

Or the nut job FBI director that wanted to decapitate most of the Democratic leadership.

I have been frustrated in the past because of your clear biases. I've seen you delete posts that are progressive for "politics" while allowing politics from the other side.

I am no longer frustrated. It is clear you consider a Glen Beck publication (that has been frequently cited for propaganda) as news. Now I am just sad for you. In the beginning, people select news that reinforces their biases. Quickly that news selects them. I wish you well. I hope you recover.
