They should have just started with all of the family properties, then they could say fair and balanced.

What gives ICE the right to use the Dodgers parking lot?

What’s shameful is what ICE is doing to undocumented immigrants (not illegal) and that they have the support of so many people who seem to support cruelty. This is all happening because Trump made one more ridiculous and cruel campaign pledge to get some votes, which was to state that he would deport all 14 million or more undocumented immigrants in this country. It’s not in the best interest of the United States to become one of the cruelest countries in the world, and to create an environment where no one from other countries is going to want to step foot in America. If he actually is able to carry out what he’s trying to do, that almost certainly would destroy the United States economy, and it would take years and years, if ever, to get it back.

You will have to cycle through all of the discussion about warrants and see if this is already asked and answered.

I’m not an expert on federal immigration law, but since you made a semantic argument, does federal law make a distinction between immigration that is “illegal” and that which is merely “undocumented?”

You're wrong. A person who enters this country, whether through a legal point of entry or otherwise, and formally files an application for asylum, is in this country legally until his or her asylum application has concluded. If the request for asylum is denied, then the immigration authorities can declare that the person is here illegally. Only, at that point, assuming the immigration authority does not grant the person some other right to stay in the country, does the person become an illegal immigrant. Do your homework before you assert a misstatement as a fact. Additionally, 50% or so of undocumented immigrants, with the tacit approval of the federal government, have lived in this country for more than 20 years, and 2/3rds have been in this country for more than 10 years. probably less than 5% of these people have criminal records. Anyone with a heart would allow the people who have been allowed to stay in this country for so long to receive permanent residency, except for the serious criminals (who should be deported). I am really curious as to why you, especially considering that you are clearly a religious person, are so adamant about throwing all of these millions of people out of the country, including the ones who have been allowed to stay here for so long and to establish families, jobs, friendships, etc. Also, I am curious as to whether you support ICE's inhumane round up of these people and incarceration in detention facilities, including in El Salvador, when a notification that they need to appear in court should be sufficient.

    Ah, symantics games.

We know of specific cases where this admin has acted illegally on immigration. Just look at several rulings all the way up to even this radicalized Supreme Court. What “I think” is that many of their tactics are also illegal even if they haven’t yet been litigated as such. Things like producing warrants and identification. There’s dozens of documented instances of them “accidentally” grabbing people with legal statuses or even U.S. citizens - in a few cases basically for the crime of speaking Spanish. How does that happen? “I think” it’s happening because alot of these guys aren’t actually trained properly, we know they are using people from different agencies - perhaps some are not even federal law enforcement at all (there is speculation this admin has deployed “bounty hunters”). These guys in masks may as well be FSB or Iranian secret police.

I’d say some of their tactics and legal maneuvering even in the courtrooms are dubious. One of the tactics as I understand it is to be waiting for immigrants who show up to their court dates, have their case dismissed (purportedly a good thing), and then immediately “detain” them after their court appearance after the govt dismissed the original case. This is even happening to DACA people or people who actually had legal status. It’s “legal maneuvering” so in these cases perhaps by definition cannot be called illegal, but it’s ethically dubious at best, especially when it results in innocent or frail people being detained unnecessarily. Underhanded stuff like that is of course going to piss people off when it’s not getting criminals or gangbangers but is getting seemingly decent people. I’m not talking about raids on business BTW. I view raids on farms and business who employ illegals as sort of textbook crackdown on this stuff, but the officers should be identifying themselves, should be perp walking the business owners (notice that isn’t happening), and should be getting at the white collar side of things if identity theft or tax evasion is involved to cheat e-verify.

ICE denies being at Dodger Stadium despite team saying they turned away agents | Fox News

ICE said they were 'never' at Dodger Stadium, 'thus never tried to gain access'

The team said the agents had "requested permission to access the parking lots," but an ICE spokesperson said in an email to Fox News Digital that "ICE was never at Dodgers stadium, and thus never tried to gain access."

ICE said in a social media post replying to the Dodgers' statement, "False. We were never there."

    Wait, what?!

You're a big-time Trump supporter and you're still saying that undocumented people need to go?

Trump is going to let them stay now, you gotta keep up!

Right because this administration is always so truthful and the Dodgers would voluntarily put themselves in the political crosshairs by lying for no reason.

Oh I absolutely do which is why I don't take anything this administration says at face value and also consider who has more incentive to lie, or use deceptive lamguage, in this situation.
