When you run dummies like this in the New York Mayors race, it is easy to see why dem donors are saying enough is enough with their cash:

NYC Mayoral Candidate Zohran Mamdani Defends ‘Globalize the Intifada’

We'll see if the democratic party in New York City, the greatest city in the world, has any remaining common sense.

The republican party needs to find a real person to run for mayor. Get off your ass RNC as NYC is the key to a state that can be flipped back red:

Less than two weeks before the New York City Democratic mayoral primary, Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani has found himself increasingly in the news. He has the support of current and former far-left Squad members, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and former Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), and clips have also resurfaced from him aggressively shouting at Tom Homan back in March. During a podcast episode released on Tuesday with The Bulwark's Tim Miller, Mamdani also justified a pro-Hamas phrase of "globalize the intifada."

Miller cut him off to get to the heart of the matter, though, asking if the phrase makes him "uncomfortable," as he also referenced another pro-Hamas, genocidal phrase of "from the river to the sea."

You apparently missed his point. Not the first time the situation has occurred and the party survived. By the way the Republicans faced a similar problem and 10 months later they won the presidential election as well as ending up with majorities in both Houses of Congress.

Not that unusual for the losing party out of power that just blew a winnable POTUS election to have a hard time with donors.

The only difference this time is that Jenn O’Mallay Dillion and the Harris Campaign Team blew through almost $1.2B in 90 days telling donors they were going to win and lost every swing state. A lot of smoke that the Harris team burned a lot of bridges with big Democratic donors and they are not interested in giving to anyone associated with that campaign.

The democrats won't need cash to win the mid-terms or the next presidential election. Just point to a picture of Trump, the Great Clown, and mention how much value he destroyed through tariffs and government "cost-cutting", not to mention grifting. The video of Trump being sentenced to prison for his felony convictions after he leaves office should confirm the votes of anyone not sure if voting for a non-republican was the right thing to do.

Also, MAGA-fans don't want to hear this, but the U.S. might hit peak oil again while Trump is in office. At current extraction rates, the U.S. only has 7 years of oil production from known reserves left. In the next 3-4 years, we should see oil production start to tail off, and the price of gas take off. Yeah, the shit's about to hit the fan. Trump's attitudes towards conservation of resources (ever heard republicans referred to as "conservatives"?) is part of the reason that we are in this mess. Couple that with the Great Depression that his tariffs are threatening to bring about, and its game over for the MAGA-republicans.

All of this may be accurate….or not. I do agree that “when the music stops” there will be hell to pay for the party in power - even though both sides have contributed to our economic state.

Let the gnashing of teeth continue!

One party has clearly been in favor of reducing fossil fuel usage, and the other party has been in favor of increasing fossil fuel usage, even to the point of trying to bring back coal mining, along with Drill, Baby, Drill.

Trump's Big Beautiful Bill is so unpopular that it is causing pollsters to predict a landslide win for democrats in the mid-terms.

Until there is a leader of the Democrats, they will struggle raising money. Schumer, AOC, or Sanders don't have the broad support in the party that Biden did.

The Democrats also no longer have USAID to launder money for them.
