IF true, makes one wonder why the newbies weren't hired instead of the illegals in the first place.. Maybe your source should ask management why they are hiring illegals when so many citizens are applying. Hmmm?

If you read the original linked article, it mentions most of the people looking to replace the deported migrants were Spanish only speakers. And the plant used E-verify, which ICE told them was unreliable.

Really think adult, Spanish only speakers in Omaha, NE are citizens? And I thought E-verify was part of your solution?

Regardless, there will be some production delays. It takes time to train new employees, and there is a always retention issues with new workers.

 

The upside is maybe it gets a small percentage of those red state "takers" off welfare and Obamacare, but I suspect the others are right, most of the new applicants are immigrants ....
