Baked…blazed…man, I miss the Seventies. I lived in a bong.

Had every heart test known to man during the last 3 years with cancer/transplant. Heart’s the best thing I’ve got these days.

 

I actually don’t know that it is anymore, at least with younger generations.

 

For years, one of the arguments in support of re-scheduling marijuana federally has been that it would facilitate more and/or better research. I don't know if those research barriers still exist, but I'm definitely good with research. At the same time, I distinguish between concerns about cardiovascular impacts and outright prohibition. Seems fair to point out that we do not seem to place very much weight on generalized public health considerations when deciding whether other activities/risk factors should be legal versus categorically criminalized.

 

Not only that, but edibles also have shown gut biome issues and increased cancer rates.

 

You may be right, and I certainly don’t have statistics, but just from my own vantage point, I see that alcohol is grocery stores, convenience stores, online delivery, restaurants, etc. it is advertised on TV, billboards, radio and the internet. I’d expect that the revenue from liquor-related businesses far exceed by many factors the revenue from legal cannabis. Regardless, that is what I meant when I speculated that it is vastly more prevalent.

A little off topic but since I left the hospital a couple weeks back my pulmanologist has me on oxygen and my cardiologist has me on a portable heart monitor for a couple of weeks. Do you think I should tell them I turn the oxygen off when I light up a cigarette? Safety first I always say.

 

So this is not a Michael Jordan thread? If anyone could cause heart atracks on the hardwood, it would be MJ.
