Visitors for 6/13

IMO the teams that wear their signature uniforms week in and week out are pretty consistent in performance and recruiting. Penn State, Aladamnbama. Michigan, LSU etc don’t resort to changing their wardrobe 3 or 4 times during the season.

 

Never fails.

 

The last time Florida was great (Meyer) they wore every combination of uniform under the sun.

 

Do you really think the uniform combination was a factor in Meyers winning %? It’s more likely it was a factor in the disintegration of the team culture that occurred in his last couple of years.
MORE likely, but I don’t think it was a factor in that aspect either.

 

I watched all home games and few road games when Urban was the HC. They wore mostly the blue/white combo and orange helmet with Gators script. I don't remember seeing them wore black or the purple looking blue unis.
IMO, it's stupid to wear black uniform when it's not even part of the school's colors.

 

I don’t mind the black. I hate the current blue

 

Might as well go stand in traffic and stack bb's as wear black unis

 

Black unis, Black outs, I still remember when Holtz was at USCe, they had a black out night game.

Uf / SOS blacked them out all right, as in unconscious, I forget the score but the Gators beat them by 40 or something crazy like that.

Information I like is true.

Don't look at the 3* on his ranking. This guy could be a beast for us and is highly desired in the SEC. Road grader type that is needed. Cross my fingers he comes our way to team up across the ball with Carr. That is a great IOL haul for this class if it comes true.

 

I would love a couple of can't miss, high 4 star, consensus, coveted OL. None of these guys seem like true projects in the way some might have been in 2022. Offer lists on all four so far look good from what I recall.
