LOL! There are a lot of people for and against congestion pricing in Manhattan/NY City. It has zero to do with being king.

Kathy Hochul has won the current round naturally using a federal district judge. The thing is that this is exactly the type of temporary injunction that should be made by federal district judges, not nationwide injunctions.

Honestly, I don't care how this turns out as it is still an ongoing matter, no dog in this fight. My days of spending money in any blue states or blue cities have been over for a number of years now. I not only vote for MAGA, but I also vote against blue states and blue cities with my money and time.

Sorry you conflate dear leader's post stating he was king that was simply about NY traffic to the No Kings protests. Don't see any connection myself, but somehow you do?

Kathy Hochul is the dead king brought back to life by a federal district judge, temporarily. Long live the king is referring to the US DOT stepping in to end the congestion sin taxes, nothing more.

The lawsuits are not over, just temporarily decisions. Even New Jersey under a another dem governor has sued New York for placing this burden on NJ drivers who have to commute to New York City.

What I find interesting is Kathy Hochul is the king, well queen metaphorically. This sin tax was passed by a New York City board. It has not been passed as a law.

Trump still considers himself to be a New Yorker due to all of his businesses. He has been vocal in support of not allowing this sin tax to start and if started to stop it.

My point was only that the words used by supporters don’t define the deeds of the politician. The left also didn’t call Biden senile, but that in itself isn’t proof that he wasn’t.

Personally, I wouldn’t use king to describe Trump, but certainly I see his use of executive power as excessive. Though I probably wouldn’t attract many to my “No excessive use of executive power!” protests.

 

The Trump administration released photos a few days ago of rioters in L.A. burning police cars that were covered in graffiti. The photos were taken shortly after the murder of George Floyd.

 

That is one of the differences between the left and the right although many on the right disliked Clinton, Obama and Biden you didn't hear the hate word used like the left uses it against Trump.

So of Clinton, Obama, Biden and Trumpy, name the ones convicted of sexual assault, name the one convicted of felonies, name the one successfully convicted of tax fraud, and defamation. Thank you for making my point.....Trump was tried and convicted due to the left's hate for him. I'm sure if the right hated Biden and Clinton the way the left hates Trump they would have both been charged and convicted (by a right leaning judge) Just like Trump.

 

Amazed the left thinks these riots/ rally/ peaceful fires are political winners on a national stage. I say keep them up. To be fair the news isn’t talking about other political losers for the left like the Maryland dad etc.
