I think there’s a real American flag flying at the park. That’s a picture on the Jumbotron. Replace the real American flag with a rainbow one and there would be, rightfully so, an uprising.
Showing the pride flag on the Jumbotron during the national anthem and not the American flag is the problem.
This was yesterday, it was Pride Night at the park, and even in this 5 second clip there are multiple images shown on the jumbotron, indicating it wasnt just focused on one thing, plus there are representations of the American flag displayed in other ways, and of course the actual flag is flying in the park. Pretty much every part of "The Mets chose to display the Pride flag in place the American flag on Flag Day" is wrong.
It is with me also but so are a lot of other things. The timing was wrong. I don’t like kneeling for the national anthem either. I was pointing out that there’s a real flag flying.
Yawn. While I prefer the A Erica flag to be flown when the National Anthem is played… I’m not going get all twisted up if a second rate baseball team flies a rainbow flag on their Jumbotron. To many other things to care about in the world.
This is what happens in June when there are no sports to talk about. Football can't get here fast enough.
Personally I’d rather not be subjected to pride propaganda at a baseball game, especially the national anthem but personally I could give 2 shits about it either way. That people are making an effort to get worked over it shows that their “I’m a victim” cup has runneth over.
Clearly you - you started a thread on it. It’s not every day that threads are started about pictures on Jumbotrons during the national anthem. But it is to be expected from those who consider themselves part of the victim class such as yourself.
I started a thread about something I thought was wrong. If that's "worked up" then so is everyone who starts a thread. And from your comments and insult it's easy to see you're much more worked up than I am.
So you are amazed that people aren't worked up about it, but then claiming that you aren't worked up?
