There appears to be an increase in right wingers posting fake stories, old photos and AI images. The funny part is they post them not realizing that their fake. Very strange
"I will take every accusation is a confession for a 1000" What are the odds that much of violence has been instigated by the right? Happened in black lives matter protests, happened it Portland. I wouldn't even be surprised to learn Trump is directing it. He is such a POS.
it is on the. approved list- you just do not want to see the truth and that is okay- you still have 188 more weeks
I'm shocked, not. They are also receiving support from US taxpayers, contracts that Trump has cancelled. The Biden Office of the Presidency shoveled enough $ out the door to these folks to get them through 2 summers of burning cities. They just didn't expect Trump to whack them over the head with timely decisions and results.
What list is that? If you look at the link, they are a questionable source at best. Detailed Report Questionable Reasoning: Conspiracy Theories, Propaganda, Numerous Failed Fact Checks Bias Rating: FAR RIGHT (7.7) Factual Reporting: MIXED (6.3) Country: USA MBFC’s Country Freedom Rank: MOSTLY FREE Media Type: Website Traffic/Popularity: High Traffic MBFC Credibility Rating: LOW CREDIBILITY Maybe they need to be removed from said list.
Because questioning stuff is bad? And yes, Justthenews is on our approved list of sources for starting a thread. But it does have a history of posting falsehoods and rightwing conspiracies.
It's on the list to provide balance in the number of sources, not because of accuracy in it's reporting. If that were the defining factor, then there would be very few permissible sources on the right leading to what I'm sure would be cries of bias. The list is under the pinned "Updated Rules for Too Hot" and the approved sources on the right are largely a joke of conspiracy sites and sources that have a very loose definition of "facts."
John Solomon is not the most reliable source and he runs that site. I'm not sure why it is one of your go to when there are other more reliable sites reporting on the issue of outside groups that show something is happening.
Here is reporting from the local Fox affiliate that some group was handing out riot shields and gas masks. Those are not things that someone just has in there garage and is trying to get rid of. LA protests: Riot gear distributed by masked group sparks questions
I only go to sources that not biased in reporting. Anything else, left or right, is disingenuous. It doesn't change the fact that his link is to a site you can't trust to report the truth. Calling out is an important part of the discussion
I didn’t see anything that looked like gas masks unless I missed it. Certainly hide your face covid style masks. Saw several that look like masks I own for woodworking and paint spraying. That said, once stuff is getting thrown, the game changes. With big crowd masses. Making arrests is challenging and you deplete resources to make them. With the roving destroyers, they need attacked, but their nature does make that complicated. After the 60’s must see TV, most riot response was based on the usage of gas to move crowds. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. But that only moves the crowd from point A to B. That is why you see such disparities from different response locales. Local norms, culture and resources all come into play. The PNW trade summits destruction vs Miami Summit as an example.
FBI is going to be investigating who, if anyone, is providing funding to these protests. chevron-right
