oh the horrors- since the guvner and the mayor refuse to protect LA and the businesses these chit heads are burning and if they are not looting they soon will- someone has to do so- I am sick and tired of liberal politicians sitting on their hands and watching their cities burn and doing nothing and then expecting the taxpayer to pick up the tab to rebuild them- plus a lot of these chit heads are probably illegals as well-

 

I dont understand how protesting equates to politicians not doing their job. People wouldnt be in the streets if Bass and Newsome were like "we arent going to assist Trump on immigration at all" they would be getting what they want, no need to protest ... you seem to be faulting the state government for only using the police to deal with protests or dissent existing at all. This stuff about them not doing their jobs is just about justifying a power grab so Trump can pretend he's a big boy.

Good grief. First, do you really think the governor needs the president to activate the National Guard? No, the governor has that power and Blanco had the guard in New Orleans before Katrina hit.

Nobody was rioting and the protests were peaceful until Trump sent in the military on U.S. citizens. This is what happens when you try to openly oppress and militarize the people in your own country. Trump is an evil, steaming turd.

 

You could have just gone with the fact that both events involved national guards and you have constructed a way to feel aggrieved about both despite a pretty loose grasp of each set of facts.

You stop or interfere with Federal Agents doing their job that is NOT peaceful. Stopping students from going into their school's library is NOT peaceful - it's a form of arrest or sequestration. They blocked Federal vehicles....according to this source PRIOR to National Guard. You block my car and prohibit me from moving while a mob is gathering I'm moving on.

What's sad is that this will probably end when some idiot brings their 3-year old to "witness history" and a rubber bullet kills the child.
