He should be much healthier to start, lets hope he can stay that way. Hes a smart kid so hes seen the same film we have and is aware of his issues. Im sure hes been working on reading defenses for hours on end. Running and throwing is in the bag.

Kinda how I see it, + had a pretty darn good recruiting class. Leave the bitching for losses. I also expect UF to enter game 3 of this season on a 6 game winning streak. Good bit of mo going into that 4 game stretch. I want Napier to prove Finebaum wrong.

I've had enough of Bama and their Cigar smokin ways to last me the next 20 years.
That fan base and media is insufferable. The only time I ever root for them is against UGA.
Hell, I was happy Michigan shut them up and I am no fan of Michigan or their former coach.

That Vandy game was one of the college football seasons highlights for me.

DJ's stats were not overwhelmingly great but the most important stat is winning. He went unbeaten in games he started and finished. The team clearly rallied around him and believed in him. He throws some beautiful deep balls. He's got an experienced offensive line coming back and the best receiving core at UF since Kyle's last year. UF has what some believe is a running back group that may be the best in the SEC with depth.

ALOT to be excited about IMO.

Hall inherited a situation unlike any other Gator coach. Initially a talented team, but unable to replenish the roster due to major recruiting sanctions, yet he never had a losing record and finished with a winning sec record. He is greatly under appreciated IMO.

Not near enough depth yet to compete for a national championship. We haven’t recruited at the necessary level for that. A playoff birth is much more realistic in my estimation.

I agree that the receiving corps could be really good by the end of the year. There going to need some time to get into rhythm with lags.

If the tightend is the primary receiver, of course DJ will try to go to his primary. I trust DJ is progressing and learning to progress through reads to find an open receiver. Hopefully, DJ has a breakout year and many other players should as well!

Thats kinda irrelevant. Hof qbs in the nfl either utilize them or they dont. A playcaller doesnt call plays that dont fit the skilllset

If we win all five games that are debatable along with the gimmes, we could be 10-2 with lossrs to only Georgia and Texas. It could happen. Maybe we beat both of them too if we can win all those other games. Its a gauntlet

I'm obviously more enthusiastic about the overall depth and talent of this roster than some here. But I also know that there will be several better collections of CFB players waiting for us down the line, especially if we do make the POs. FTR, Athlon has us ranked 8th talent-wise going into the Fall, which ain't bad. The unknowable factors are just how accurate those ratings really are and whether every squad ranked above us comes together as an actual FB team - as opposed to a gaggle of self-interested mercenaries. We'll also see how BN's eye for talent and player development stacks up against purportedly more talented teams - at least three or four times in '25. If some of the teams that are credited with being NC caliber squads stumble along the way, and BN turns out to know more about player assessment than the average sportswriter, we might be surprised just how close to being a NC threat UF actually is. But yes, just making the playoffs will be a great accomplishment in '25 after the brutal slog it's been to get there. GG.
