These are people who though Portland was just scorched, smoldering earth in 2020 because a courthouse got vandalized

Yeah, I remember when people talked about how Minneapolis had been burned to the ground. Or that the entire city of Seattle was in open rebellion because a bunch of hippies sat in on one block.

If anyone gives these people any credibility on "rioting" they had to have literally been born yesterday

You know things are serious when Dr. Phil is doing ICE ride-alongs. There is certainly a reality TV aspect to all this.

It's just silly. Conservatives disagreed that Jan. 6 was an insurrection, but now they're calling every protest an insurrection. Just silly.

    Newsome suing now.

    Stupidity on so many levels.

Maybe the media could give a global perspective vs looking for the money shot.

Its all escalation on both sides, and zero de-escalation.

But frankly, when you start deporting people to prisons with no due process I really have no sympathy for the aftermath effects of that. If people want to burn cars so be it. I'm with them. Rights are being violated and people are pissed.

That's because you are wrong to call a riot/insurrection a protest.

Taxpayer money funding provided by Democratic Communists to teach death to America:

Taxpayer-Funded Riots: Here's What We Found When We Followed the Money in Los Angeles

When ICE conducted raids Friday morning at multiple locations in downtown Los Angeles, violent protesters impeded their work at both the staging location at a Home Depot in Paramount and outside the targeted business in downtown. Things might have stayed somewhat contained but for the involvement of two powerful and high-profile leftist community "leaders."

One of those people, SEIU California President David Huerta, was arrested for interfering with federal officers after he got in the way of ICE officers. After his arrest, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Rep. Gil Cisneros, and other Democrat elected officials decried the action.

Then Angelica Salas, Executive Director of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) held a press conference calling for broad demonstrations against ICE, and tensions and violence escalated from there.

Read the article to follow the money.

What is going on inside the Democratic Communist Party is nationwide insurrection using trained anarchists and rioters. These are not protests, even the LAPD says so about what is going on right now in LA which totally slams the far-left narrative of most peaceful protesting.

From videos shown late last night, you can add the smash and grabbers to the list as several businesses were broken into and drained of content by these not mostly peaceful protesters. What did the LAPD do to stop this? Zip, which is why the national guard had to be called in to protect federal buildings and personnel and why 500 marines are standing by in case they are needed to confront these anarchist insurrectionist rioters/looters.

What is the normal coddling of criminals in LA/California by the powers that be and the LAPD in this case will not be tolerated by the Trump Administration.

The NG are NOT trying to stop the riots, they are there to protect federal buildings from rioters... but that could change.

He may have a point, but does anyone remember the context of Noem’s remarks? Because I don’t.

Im curious how these politicians would react if it were their property and vehicles being damaged let alone one that took a rock through their windshields. Same with people showing any sympathy for their actions.

Protest all day everyday but justifying mindless and somewhat indiscriminate violence and vandalism is sad.

I'd also like to ask these politicians how they would feel if people they knew and loved were being deported without due process and in violation of their rights and Supreme Court orders.

    This cuts both ways.

Yes and no. Im not unsympathetic to the cause but what does throwing rocks through windows of police cars, destroying public and private property or looting businesses have to do with that?

You really going to be ok with a family member taking a rock to the face or your car/business etc getting destroyed?

Its a slippery slope when we justify any action based on ideals. I didn't say dont fight it. Im asking how is this the way and what those politicians playing theatre do if it were them suffering the consequences?

I'd also add that this kind of rhetoric justifying some of these actions is pretty much how we ended up with the mess we have now in the Whitehouse, senate and house.guess we will continue our devolution

I actually know a liberal in Portland, who at the time, told me the far left nutjobs out there were occupying about seven blocks of the city. Nice try.
