Trump sends National Guard to LA

It was a matter of time before he sent troops to a city in a blue state.

 

It was only a matter of time before a blue state behaved like petulant cry babies.

 

Newsom already threatened to withhold their tax revenue as Trump targets Cali. Trumps gonna FAFO and the red states are gonna suffer bigly.

 

Well, let’s not make too much of it yet. These are our local California men and women, and I know their commander very well. You can trust these Soldiers to be calm, professional, and help keep the peace. I’m not privy to exact conversations between the Governor and President on this one, and no doubt there have been unnecessary political BS moves by both, but I also know they have to get ahead of what’s happening in LA now before it spins out of control like it did in 2020.

I’m not sure about the nature of the threat, though. I’m in California. My federal income taxes come right out of my pay through withholding just like they do with everyone else in every other state. I don’t see where Governor Newsome could realistically “withhold” money from the federal government to prove a point. That money comes from largely from the size of this population, and the state government plays no role in facilitating its transfer to the federal government.

 

Even if the threat never materializes, perhaps some could just STFU re bashing a major source of income for the fed. just saying.

The men and women of ICE are actually doing their jobs as directed… and they are being attacked on the streets and by politicians in the media. Their families have been doxed (and that should answer why so many wear masks while doing their jobs), the riots have damaged buildings, costs millions. Keep it n mind many on the left claim people like Tucker Carlson’s nd Charlie Kirk’s speech is “dangerous” and here we see politicians in the left turning up the heated rhetoric and actually adding fuel to the fire. Actual dangerous speech.
The right screamed and cried about the number of illegal immigrants crossing the boarder. Biden claimed there was just nothing he could do… but the moment it becomes known Trump would be the new Pres… the boarder crossings started dropping.
Now the left is screaming and crying that the right is sending those illegal immigrants back across the boarder …
