Stop it. We are not getting snarky and sarcasm does NOT translate in prose. I’ve learned that the hard way often.
Cant we at least get a middle of the road type. Im not against anything really, just dont want a guy dressed up like braveheart nor a giant screaming vagina.
The president doesnt matter, his onfield will have him sink or seim. No president is going to fire him if he wins 9-10 games and anyone that gets the job will fire him fay one if he loses 7. It just changes the date slightly.
Hmm, he has pro hamas group camping on his campus? Grow some balls and the hell with the political climate on your campus. Leaders lead and followers follow. Thats the type of black eye that possibly git him looking for a job and denied.
I thought that this was a pretty reasonable discourse over a potentially touchy subject. However, I'm not privy to how many "outside the lines" posts you've had to delete. Kudos to you for the work you do.
Bill was right. Just thinking out loud . . . but I thought this topic was relevant to Swamp Gas since it involves the potential president of the University of Florida. The background process is inherently political and the candidate's history and views are inherently political. What I've been trying to delete are things that bring in national politics or insults to one side of the aisle or the other. OklahomaGator reminded me to remind everyone here . . . there is also a purely political thread in THFSG.
Yeah this has been handled pretty well for us. At least you left up the post about the screaming vagina
What the heck does THAT mean? Are you some kind of.... Just in case you want to know what is happening over there, here is a synopsis:
I thought you were refering to Kirby Smart when you said screaming vagina but you said giant...so youre obviously talking about Danny Kanell.
Why must the President of the University of Florida be left/center/middle (of whatever road you are referring to)? The hiring decision should have nothing to do with politics, which have done little more than screw up education. It might be nice for the university to opt for a candidate with experience successfully running a flagship, or at least someone who took a university from a mid to an upper tier. They had a person who had successfully presided a flagship and top 10 uni, but an unprecedented political move halted things. I don't believe for a second that you are not against "anything." The bias engendered in your Braveheart/screaming vagina reference betrays this.
Both political sides have crazies. I just want someone that represents all students equally. I dont want our educational systems controlled or influenced by a politically charged leadership. I have many views that would be considered left or right but my views are mine only. I want you to have yours.
