Wasn't it a couple years before Lauren really performed

Pitching wise probably. She put the work in and was absolutely determined to be the new ace after Roger’s graduated. Of course she also had Rocha! Best pitching coach ever imo.

My point exactly though. Ava could very well be poised for a breakout year. We know she is a very hard worker. Keagen as well..... she looked fantastic before she went down. Movement and control both were very sharp.

I really do get Rocha leaving I’m just salty about where she chose to go lol. This is really reaching on my part but it’s possible I’d be more ok with her going to the criminoles. Anywhere but OU lol.

No excuses but the pitching injuries were definitely a bummer. Red didn’t really get a fall ball because of injury, Keagan looks good to start the season but then gets hurt just in time for Red to come back and get thrown to the wolves in the SEC. Red gets injured again at the end around the lsu series I believe and Keagan never truly had a chance to build her stamina back up. Softball gods just weren’t with us this season. Overall the future is bright I believe, im just running out of years to enjoy all this and want to win now lol!

I heard that about Liv too.

I agree with you re tweaking things, helping pitchers to improve on the skills they already possess. That's exactly what a coach should do, bring out the best in a player, but as you say, not completely overhaul everything they know!.
If their pitching was so bad that it needed a complete change, why would they have recruited them in the first place?.

It seems like SVP is doing a good job, and I think the girls like her so hopefully more of the same improvement to come!

She is from OK and has small children. She needed her grandmother's help.
    We should understand that.

As I said I get it. I know where she’s from. Could’ve teamed up again with Kenny at OSU. Anything but OU lol.
