don't cheer to loudly- it is to face charges for trafficking illegals Kilmar Abrego Garcia returning to U.S. for criminal charges: Report
Hey, due process. What a concept. Next up: let's return the people in CECOT that have not been found to have violated any laws.
Sounds like they are mad he embarrassed the admin, since they never made these claims before and said it was not possible to get him back. At least he will get to defend himself.
At least he is getting a chance to defend himself. Then whatever happens, happens, but at least now it is being done correctly..
Wait, so now we find out this illegal is more than a gang banging wife beater? Seems like a waste of time to bring him back here so that we can deport him again.
They ginned up some weak charges to save face, they weren't just going to bring him back and let him resume his life. If he's convicted he'll be staying in American prison unless we are outsourcing our own prisoners now.
So wait, the whole "we can't get him back" thing was a bad faith exercise to excuse sending people to prison for life without any version of due process?
EXCLUSIVE: Unearthed Police Reports Show Extent Of Abrego Garcia’s Alleged Involvement In Human Smuggling
That would be the foreign country that we are paying to incarcerate people? Amazing how fast they got him back when they finally think that they have a way to save face.
Please don't conflate supporting the concept of due process as being the same as saying a person is not guilty. Let a court of law decide that. TACO'd for now They will test this again.
Since when is it illegal to go on a road trip with friends? Can’t wait for all the members of congress to testify on his behalf
He's going to wish he was back in El Salvador... sipping on Margaritas compliments of our socialist Dems.
I'm not saying that he's innocent. His guilt or innocence will be determined when he is tried but I am somewhat skeptical considering that the police reports are years old. The burden is still on the government to prove that people that Abrego Garcia was transporting were illegals and more significantly he had knowledge that they were illegals. Still very possible that he's guilty as hell although if the relatively minor traffic offenses indicate a conspiracy to transport illegals he should have been charged much earlier.
Pretty much just another example of how Trump and Republicans abuse our laws and wipe their a$$es with the Constitution; when it suits their needs to employ the legal system against someone, they do so. When people are entitled to Constitutional rights such as due process, they are perfectly content to literally break the law. Obviously, they shouldn't be allowed to have it both ways.
So now we hear for the first time he was smuggling illegals - within the US, from TX to other points? To the extent this is illegal, why has this not been previously disclosed? Also, what was different about what he allegedly did and what Greg Abbot and Ron Desantis ordered with illegals in the US? This is all a charade - a way to bring him back to the US, to save face. Ultimately the trumped up charges will likely be dropped.
