People didn't come here when there were no jobs (because of covid). Then they reversed that when the economy opened up. It's not complicated - and if covid hadn't happened, crossings at the southern border would probably have about a straight-line trajectory.

The only thing ridiculous is calling a daily drop of border crossings from 1,200 to 800 "way down." Why that's 146,000 over a whole year, when we have appx 12 million in the country!!
