Yeah, I would imagine people trying to live legitimately in the US undocumented are even more compliant with laws and regs than most citizens. Shit the whole point of the H1-B program is to have highly skilled foreign workers you can more or less treat like shit and who have to toe the line on everything on fear of deportation.

 

Forget the wage part, just having a work force you can threaten with ICE if they have any issue at the work place is an employers dream. American worker might talk back, unionize or quit.

The rumor is the ice raid in Tallahassee last week was called in by a contractor who realized they get away without paying their employees. Just a rumor though

 

Said it before, despite Trump's rhetoric the percentage of undocumented immigrants who have committed crimes is very small. Considering that the actual number of truly criminal illegals is small it shouldn't be surprising that Trump, Noem and Miller are deporting otherwise law-abiding immigrants to pump up the numbers of deportations including immigrants that are contributing to the economy and have been in the US for an extended period of time. To increase the number of deportees Trump has essentially turned to deporting the aliens described in the quote below from Ronald Reagan.

 

Undocumented immigrants my ass. They are here illegally so they are illegal immigrants and broke the law coming here illegally. That in itself is plenty to send them packing back to the country they came from.

 

Presumably, procedurally accurate, but doesn't this feel wrong to you? They would be forced to abandon their four children who are Americans. Feels like we'd be following a rule just because it's a rule without any comprehension of what the purpose of the rule is.

Seems like offering pathways to legalize people in situations like this would serve all parties involved while also lending credence to the claims they aren't against immigrants. If politicians today had any tact or diplomacy they could curtail any racist rhetoric, support the nuclear family and uphold immigration law at the same time by addressing a situation like this with a set of requisite terms to be completed or else... If efforts fail then give them the boot.

 

The purpose of the rule for them is to be able to ethnically cleanse the population though .. the Sophie's Choice element is the icing on the cake. Who's going to leave their kids behind? Have we not seen enough to know that adherence to the law and humane decisions are not their priority?

 

I try to curb the extreme rhetoric for or against either party and my first reaction to this was to ask why would they want to alienate a portion of the electorate that voted them in? I guess that's the naivete in me. Of course the simple answer is get rid of them altogether if they believe all those "illegal voters" are the only way "the demorats" win elections...

Again, my take is neither party has what it takes to curtail this dive into extremes

I would add that the Trump Administration is so obsessed with deporting persons whose only "crime" is illegal presence in the US that it has deployed agents and law enforcement officers from the FBI, DEA, ATF, IRS and Marshalls Service to assist ICE when they should be investigating real crimes and apprehending real criminals.

Better secure the border. Amnesty those here that aren't problems. Punish employers severely going forward. It isn't hard.

 

Apparently, under the Trump Administration apprehending undocumented immigrants aka illegal aliens most of whom are guilty only of being in the US illegally should take precedence over investigating potential terrorists, cyber criminals, tax cheats, individuals involved in the illegal trafficking of firearms and fugitives who fail to appear in court which explains why Donald, Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi, Kash Patel and Stephen Miller have redeployed FBI agents, IRS agents, ATF agents and US Marshalls from their normal duties to immigration enforcement.

It's slavery and immoral. Those laborors aren't getting the same benefits and rights as the owner or people around them. It should be banned. Benefits and the right thing to do isn't always the same thing.
