Perfectly put. We all gave up on her and wanted her benched last year. CTW knew better. .......and he bought her glasses. She was always an error machine where you just held your breath when even routine balls went her way. Sort of in the tradition of Sarah Longely. I gotta think that this is a situation where the player (or her mother) thinks that she better than she is. She ends up leaving a great situation that is nurturing her where she could have improved. I'm big on "once a Gator, always a Gator" -- and I wish her well -- but with this move I bet she's already had the best year in her softball career and will not reach her full potential.
Putting aside graduation, I can't recall this many leaving voluntarily. Maybe people who said team chemistry was "off" were right and the locker room was not a happy place
This would be very shocking if true. Both struggled heavily adjusting to D1 play but they didn’t have a fall to prepare. Can’t really see them at any of the top or even middle P4 programs.
2026 will be an entirely new roster. Probably much needed. There had to be some internal strife, not as bad as 2012, but something nonetheless. CTW did a masterful job building a new team after that 2012 fiasco and the Gators won 2 titles shortly thereafter.
Don't know. All over OU boards though that someone is leaving. I wouldn't be suprised if Lowry didnt.

Shaw might have some potential. We don't know since she didn't, and logically wouldn't, get a chance to prove herself this year. Bellaire never figured IMO. Remember, both of them were late commitments, after we got absolutely not one kid that year from what I believe to be our primary list. To the best of my knowledge, they were a get after we didn't get what we wanted.
Yeah..I always stuck up for her last year ( and I did the same for Sarah )..I didn't like posters bashing her..or actually any of our girls...
Roster now down to 12 players for next year. I really hope Walton does not ask for any 2026 to reclassify unless they come in the fall. However, I could see him asking the catcher we have signed in that class to come early since we do not have a catcher for next year. Looking at a transfer class the size of probably 6-8 players.
