More reason to switch to best of 3 until omaha.. they would of hosted opening round.probably first 2..fans stay home.. get some national exposure along the way.

I would think most baseball fans ate aware of them last few years..I would compare to a double or coastal 15 years ago..could be way off, but expect they become a mainstay in tourney

I love the chaos and all the upsets, especially when the SEC & FSU are involved. Go Oregon State!

There wouldnt be as many upstets, but would still have plenty I think, especially after 1st round..And a lot of good matchups in 1st round in the #20-40 seed range matchups(assuming seeded somewhat accurately). Also no empty stadiums ever, like you have in non host regional games.

Under current format, I wsh they would re seed after regionals.. This year for example only 9 of T16 left.. 8 of those should be hosting Supers IMO. Ive heard talk of reseeding before CWS, but Id prefer they reseed this week instead.

The tourney format at CWS will never change(bc of tv) but I wish theyd at least do the bracket flip like softball does.

I understand your points, but I still like the chaos that the current system allows for. So if a #4 Regional seed upsets a #1 Regional seed, they already have to go on the road to a Super. Why punish them even more by making them go to the highest seeded team left? Let them just naturally follow the bracket and give them a fighting chance. I love to see the Cinderella stories and see underdogs go as far as they can. The big boys already have all the built in advantages, making it harder and harder for smaller teams to break through. At least give them a puncher's chance instead of making it harder and harder.

If it were a best of 3 bracket I agree, let it play out. But regionals are so random, not seeded correctly to start with.(geography) 2/3 of field gone in one wekend.. IDK just seems like a good idea to me lol.. this is probably an outlier year anyways w/ only 9/T16 left.. so most years it wouldnt change a whole lot.

I'm good with the current system. At least it's a lot better than the old 6 team (survival of the deepest pitching staff) regionals, when UF had to go down to Coral Gables most years.

Ive heard the expansion talk a bit recently.. But only 4-8 teams.. how would they even format that?? Play in games ? Which presents iits own problems, getting those in inbetween conf tourns and regionals.

Time to see whether the SEC is mainly an over-hyped conference, or the best is still the best, just not all the teams. The Cinderellas have gotten to the ball, can they stay past midnight? We shall see.
