Hindsight is 20/20, but as I said yesterday, I wished we would have saved King for today, figuring we could outscore Fairfield with Coppola. Oh well

 

It's unfortunate we don't have anyone else to put in the game. That's benching worthy, even in a game that could end the season.

 

Back in the day you would have heard “Bonehead” pretty loudly.

 

Sure, that can happen. Doesn't mean it will. History says it probably won't considering how little the now invest in baseball and their conference record. There's a reason they hired Artega instead of doing a national search for an HC. But we've dominated them recently, and FSU has done the same. To say they're going to pass us because of one postseason, that could end next weekend for them is a tad dramatic, imo.

 

Unless you strike everybody out you need solid defense behind your pitcher. Pierce did strike out 10 in 3 and 2/3rd innings against Bama recently. If he would have done that we would be having a different conversation now.

Damn we kicked it around a lot today.

 

Come on Luke, your front side is flying open creating all these away from armside misses. ADJUST!

Rowland has been emerging down the stretch, but him pitching twice in 3 games in a regional means things are not going well.
