You are the one that said…”MRNA has been around for decades. They tweaked it to fit the strain of covid we had.” So I responded accordingly. You clearly have no clue about what you say LOL!
Not even just experts on every topic. But preeminent experts who know more than and reject the credentialed experts. Some know more than the experts in multiple fields. It’s impressive stuff. The YouTube phd truly has no limits to their expertise. I think we have several pre-eminent experts in all-of-the above: virology, aerospace engineering, govt contracting, economics, investing, warfare. Gatorcountry is blessed to be granted an audience with such worldly Renaissance men who so graciously spent hundreds (thousands?) of hours of their lives watching YouTube video to gain the depth of knowledge that years of academic study in merely one field could never hope to match.
Pre-eminent experts who questioned the narrative of a uniquely pernicious pathogen were roundly attacked and de-platformed, thus proving that Covidians didn’t really appeal to pre-eminent experts. It was pure tribalism.
largest egg producer in the SW got hit. this is going to leave a mark. how many eggs do 6 million chickens lie? time to beg others for their spare eggs? Largest egg producer in Southwest partially shutdown: What to know Hickman's Family Farms has several bird operations across Arizona as well as smaller ones Colorado. The farm, founded in 1944, is the largest egg company in the Southwest, and the top 20 in the country. What To Know "Our hens began showing symptoms consistent with avian influenza on May 15 and were confirmed the next day," Hickman said at a Friday news conference. Despite efforts to contain the outbreak, it spread to all of the farm's west side facilities, ultimately wiping out 95 percent of its chicken population, around 6 million chickens, he told Newsweek.
I wonder how many other country's poultry gets the bird flu every year? Seems odd that I never hear about the European's poultry getting bird flu.
MRNA has even been used in Aids research, so what part of it being around for decades is confusing? Now, according to you, it is being used for cancer research. So yes, it was formulated, tweaked, however you want to phrase it, for C19. Biden rolled it out. How was that a screwup? We've had several strains, just like the flu. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your point.
I never got fired, but I did walk away from a job that required vaccination. I was assured that I could submit to weekly testing in lieu of vaccination, but I refused that too as I wasn’t about to play into the delusion … Remnant MD on Substack
I have blocked all of the anti vax conspiracists here - but what is remarkable is they are more worried about hypothetical (and fictitious) dangers of MNRA vs the real dangers of Bird Flu. I’m going to guess that if the Bird Flu made it to humans and turned out to be far more deadly than Covid some of these “skeptics” would get an MNRA vax and then go quiet about it.
Trouble is until Covid there never had been an mRNa vaccine/treatment approved for human use. I think that’s part of the concern some have.
I can attest that I’ve never seen the likes of the gaslighting the vaccine injured (or survivors of those killed by vaccines) have suffered than I’ve seen in this dark time of mass-derangement.
You are correct no mRNA vaccine had been approved before COVID. But there was an ebola mRNA vaccine created and tested under several trials. The trials have shown good efficacy, but the ebola virus isn't a threat right now line it was a decade ago. One thing about the ebola mRNA vaccine is that the CDC used the results for the inert parts of the vaccine and applied them to COVID, since the inert substances between the vaccines were identical.
It has been used in cancer research for decades. That is where it has real chance to produce some great outcomes. Covid ended its chances for viral infections like the flu/cold. Not saying it will never happen. But it was set back in a major way. As it failed in epic proportions as the vast majority of people saw it fail to protect against delta and omicron. And every booster since that targeted a strain out of circulation. The only people holding on are the few @AzCatFan types. And maybe you? But something tells me you even know not to take it anymore and would not give it to your kids. You brought the Covid issue up. Not me.
Praytell, how would've an old fashioned vaccine made from an attenuated virus from the wild type fare against strains like delta and omicron? Doesn’t it stand to reason that if mutated strains had immunity against the wild type mRNA in the vaccine, these same mutated strains would've fared just as well against any vaccine made from the wild type? Your microbiology ignorance is showing again. I also ask, in what world is lower hospitalization and death rates a failure? Because again, every study from every country shows the same decrease in hospitalization and deaths after vaccination. And done in record time! So the vaccine wasn't perfect, didn't stop 100% from getting sick, being hospitalized, dying, or give anyone super powers. News flash, no vaccine is ever 100% perfect. And calling the COVID vaccine a failure is an example of making perfect the enemy of good, because a lot of people were spared needing hospitalization or a trip to the morgue.
