It is the first truthful statement she has made in years.

Listened to a podcast talking about this. About 8.6 million will dropped under new requirements. The bigger impact, and where this arrogant wench is showing the true depths of Republican contempt for the poor, rural part of their own party is the funding that is going to be cut from rural medical facilities as a result of this bill. Rural clinics are heavily funded by Medicaid and operate on very thin margins. 10-20 % cuts will hit those facilities very hard. Quite a few in her own state.

I hope those people in Iowa remember....elections have consequences.

Well they did vote for this along with higher prices for goods and services due to tariffs, a wack job running the health department in Krazy Bob, closed off access to markets for their agricultural products because of trade wars, and much more. They can wallow in their ignorance

If by hippie, you mean the SJWs of the 60s and 70s, it's not hard at all to figure out. Many of them were virtual signaling for the attention and validation. It was always about them.

This thread sent me on a two hour rabbit hole looking for recordings of “Locals Only” - a new wave/surf punk/ band we grew up with in Florida in the early/mid 80s. One of their popular songs was “Everybody dies”.
