You must be new around here. There is this thing called "sports" and another thing called "Gator Fan". When "Gator Fan" gets involved emotionally with "Gator Sports", funny things manifest. It is plausible when the women's basketball program is stuck in middling...or worse. It is kind of odd - but still in the real world - when the golf teams don't always get to the final rounds of the NC tournaments.

But then there are "those programs" and "those fans". You are attempting to address the minor league silly folk talking about a pretty good to great program who for some reason did not win the NC. Wait until you get to address the major leaguers, who worry about whether the final scholarship on a NC winning team is not going to be used to sign a perennial NBA all-star for a one-year hiatus, as if winning one for "us" is akin to winning an Olympic gold metal. I mean, all it will take is to put their lives and finances on hold for a year so that we can obtain a NC trophy. Is that too much to ask from them???

Well, I meant that is what "they" are wanting to say. Me? I just take it all in stride...while I figure out which "40-0" shirt I want to buy. But I am not THAT silly,

I am ordering a "39-1" shirt at the same time. Why would I not use my brain???

Lol..definitely not new around here..been around here for awhile and a Gator fan for waaaay lot longer..that's been my philosophy here lately as I have gotten older..about life and the Gators..worrying about things I have no control over makes no sense for me any more..especially about a sports team and believe me...I understand the Gator "fan" you described..especially the football one..season ticket holder/booster since 1985..and followed the team even before that so I get what you're saying...just trying to "calm down" the over anxious fan

A lot more than 5 players are in the portal and many more than that have already announced their decisions. Berzon entered the portal May 20 and a lot of players have entered since then and even before then. It's OLD news. Where do you get your information? When you open the link and get to the bottom of the list, click on "Load More" and it will give you even more players in the portal.

I used this link to the same site yesterday. It only shows 5 players. I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time. Regardless Berzon is a very good Pitcher and will be a great pickup for someone.

That's because you went to the page titled TOP Transfer Portal Players. Click the link next to it (titled Transfer Portal) and you'll see the long, entire list.
P.S. - I would bet money Berzon is going to Oklahoma, assuming Patty Gasso wants her. She's going to take that million dollar payday for her senior year. With Love's Truck Stop giving OU's softball program a blank check for NIL, Gasso pretty much gets any player she wants.
