Baseball vs. E Carolina, Fri 5/30, Noon

ECU came to play

 

I know they are RPI 66, but I'm impressed by ECU's manufacturing.

 

They are scrappy but they have much to lose as us

 

So this is going to be a question of if we can chase their starter. If we can, we can still win today. If we can't, then it will be time to regroup and see what we are made of. I'm still hoping we can claw back in this one.

 

We are in for an ass kickin. Not sure if we have enough will to come back

 

Well, Peterson’s out and there’s a lot of ball game left. That said, his problem today was basically the same thing that it’s been all season—lack of command of his repertoire of pitches. That makes the game awfully tough.

 

Ouch!

 

Alrighty then, nothing we can do about what’s happened so far. Let’s get going, Gators!

 

I did warn everyone that ECU is a really good team, after I watched them play USF 5 games between the end of the regular season and tournament.

 

Unfortunate

 

This dude had 19 so's against Coastal Carolina earlier this year. It was a complete game shutout.

 

I'm less concerned with the 4-0 hole and more concerned with the Peterson/O'Sullivan body language... ya'll sure Liam's back next year?

 

Just need to shut them down and start chipping away. Easier said than done
