Spiking the football about a perceived victory over rooting for what's best for the country.... Priorities.

Future are down now after the stay ... Trump should wise up and take the hint. Hell, he's probably secretly hoping he loses if he has any lucidity left in his feeble brain.

there seems to be more and more legit concern that there isn't much left

amazing how posters here, and their ilk in DC and the media, mock Biden and his enablers while they enable their own demented demigod

MAGA 'more troubling' as Trump’s 'mental decline becomes more obvious': reporter

Longtime White House reporter Brian Karem is suggesting that, as disturbing as Donald Trump's mental decline has become more apparent during his second term, what is even more dangerous are the people who support him and defend despite evidence that he is giving signs that he is slipping.
    .....................................................
Calling them a "traveling crew of sycophants who hang on his every word in order to feed their empty souls," he added, "This soulless group of feckless individuals consists of racists, misogynists, bed wetters, train spotters, and a guy who once painted his bald head to make it look like he had hair."

Writing that Trump's MAGA horde has raised his status to "mythical" proportions, Karem asserted they are a greater threat than Trump's growing mental slippage. "This is more troubling as Trump’s mental decline becomes more obvious," he wrote before observing, "If Joe Biden slipped into senility, Donald Trump has fallen precipitously into it."

Adding that Trump now seems to wholeheartedly believe all of his own lies, Karem concluded, "Donald Trump is an angry old man at war with everything in his life, including the reality he can’t accept and his greatest fans will never admit: Donald Trump is the ultimate loser. He is a shriveled husk devoid of empathy."

The longer it takes to iron out what Trump is trying to accomplish (at least I believe what he is trying to accomplish with tariffs). The longer the uncertainty imo.

Could be ironed out pretty quickly if he just stopped giving erroneous and shifting explanations for the tariffs.

It feels like you are entirely inconsistent here. You give Trump “credit” for a “great” market, even though objectively the market has dropped during Trump’s so-far brief reign. And then you negate Biden’s term, where the market experienced record growth, on an objective standard, by concluding he was just lucky.

If objective numbers don’t count, what metrics should we look at?

For clarity’s sake, are you saying you think Trump’s Whiplash Economics is a good thing?

Every time Trump “wins,” the economy loses. Every time Trump “loses,” the market recovers. Such an odd tangible to celebrate for Trump fans.

I don’t think I have said Trump is the reason the market is great?

Shoot. I thought we would see a correction. I did not expect it to recorrect like it did. I had moved heavy cash. Went back in selling covered calls after the correction down. Made some good money on the move back up. Still have the AAPL and selling covered calls on it. Lost the TSLA (boy wish those covered calls did not hit lol) and lost AMZN.

I think too much credit is given and blamed on Presidents for this stuff. Long term I think Trump is doing what I would consider better for the American economy. But it is a complicated matter for sure…

you think wrong. IP is where money is, not screwing phoens together

destroying the brain base that creates all the new IP. Our allies, and enemies, are thrilled to take our best and brightest if we are not willing to help them learn and grow

what % of billionaire $ startups were started by foreigners or have foreigners in executive positions? can you answer that question?

do you know who the leader is in solid state batteries? a pair of chinese students with a startup at HARVARD..Europe will be happy to offer them, and their research and patents, a home. Then we can get paid to build their battery and they can set the price and capture the tax on the IP..brilliant
