UF doesn't match up well with any pitcher who has a decent drop ball.

 

We will play tomorrow at 7pm EST

 

Chances of us winning the whole thing are not looking good to say the least. I guess we can still hope for Oklahoma to lose to Tennessee and us getting a chance to send them home. If they get by Tennessee, I’m afraid they’re looking at 5 in a row.

 

We historically don’t do so great against a great rise ball pitcher either.

 

I don't know which is more annoying, listening to Beth Mowins run her mouth or reading some of the negative posts on this forum when these girls are struggling. Go Gators.

 

Just sucks....Keagen did plenty well enough for us to win thst game and we were jsut so flat. Good to see Red back.

 

She didnt really throw the rise much is the thing...and we were expecting it

 

Seems like when we get the high-rise fast ball down that we lose the ability to hit the drop ball.

JMHO, we take too many strikes in the early count. We let strikes go by and then swing at balls. I have been irritated with this all season. Balls right down Peachtree are ignored too often early in the count. I've thought all year that more aggression was needed at the plate/dish. It's too late now.

I vote for adding Amanda Lorenz to our coaching staff to work with our batters.

 

We probably need Tennessee to win. I feel we match up better with Oklahoma. Want no parts of Pickens after today's hitting display.

 

I guess I'm not as politically correct. Tim need to let go of his college buddy, Aric Thomas. He's been here longer than any other coach and other than Williams who has improved in a 2nd year of his coaching throughout his tenure here?

Just like with making the pitching coach change a few seasons ago, might Walton finally make a move here as well?

 

What will be will be, but this team hits fast and rising balls better. That is Picken's strength and our strength.

 

Tough situation either way, but we were a timely hit away from sweeping Oklahoma. Have no idea what they'd do not having faced Tennessee before.
