Notes on the above projected lineups for 2026:

I'm not ready to count on Skylar Draser due to her shoulder surgery or Amelia Disidore who is just back coming off a long-term injury recovery for her foot/ankle. If both are ready for the 2026 season, it would be huge for this Gators team success.

UF's best lineup will be vault, #1 in the nation if can stick the 10.0 vaults.

I'm hoping Lily Bruce can flash her 5-star incoming ranking. She was coming off of a long-term injury before arriving at UF. I know she has talent, or she would have never been ranked so highly in the recruit rankings. However, she was unable to crack any lineups in the 2025 season.

It would be helpful if true freshmen Jocelyn Sasson and Maddy Dorbin can contribute more than I have projected.

Bottom line, if all of the pieces come together, UF will be competing for the 2026 national championship.

Interesting not to include Riley on bars. She seemingly announced her redshirt year on insta.

there’s also the reasonable likelihood of eMjae Frazier coming. All the rumors are saying she’s coming to UF for her senior year from Cal. I haven’t heard any other school mentioned although it hasn’t been announced by either eMjae or UF.

I expect the new freshies to all contend on floor. Joce, Maddy and Jayla as well as Amelia all have solid E passes. It’s the strongest event for several of them. Fun side note: Joce’s twin sister is going to be a dazzler and her older sister just graduated and she was also a dazzler!

Maddy just finished second at level ten nationals. I expect her in the mix on several events.

I looked on Riley's Instagram and couldn't find anything about her choosing to use her redshirt year, X too.

EDIT for Riley's 5 Days Ago Instagram Post:

I have added Riley to my bars and beam lineup projections.

eMjae Frazier would be a huge transfer portal pickup for the 2026 season. I've been checking her Instagram daily. The only thing new is what she posted about graduation last weekend. Presuming Kayla and Skye are 100% for 2026, to say UF would be loaded with eMjae is an understatement. Thank you for sharing.

    eMjae 2025 NQS:

    9.880 Vault
    9.900 Bars
    9.890 Beam
    9.910 Floor
    39.510 All Around

Based on her NQS AA score of 39.510, eMjae was the tied at 17th rated gymnast in the nation in 2025. In comparison, Selena Harris-Miranda was the tied at 5th rated gymnast in the nation with an NQS AA score of 39.670:

    Standings

I'd have eMjae Frazier as an all arounder with UF as well.

Besides her outstanding career at California, eMjae was also a 4X member of the US National team. Going back 4 years before Cal, I found this picture of eMjae with some UF familiar faces:

Leanne Wong, Konnor McClain of LSU, eMjae, and Kayla DiCello are pictured.

A photo of eMjae posing with Skye Blakely - 4th Picture to Right:

If eMjae decides to come to UF, she will have some familiar faces and friends to compete with. I'm sure she knows Selena Harris-Miranda too as she and Selena were in the 2022 class plus Selena was her older sister's teammate at UCLA before coming to UF last year.

UF's 2026 Roster presuming Riley McCusker returns for her redshirt year and eMjae Frazier transfers to UF. Both will use up their remaining collegiate eligibility after performing in the 2026 season:

    Seniors:
    Lori Brubach
    eMjae Frazier
    Selena Harris-Miranda
    Riley McCusker _______
    Juniors:
    Alyssa Arana
    *Kaylee Bluffstone
    **Kayla DiCello
    Gabby Disidore
    Skylar Draser
    Danie Ferris
    Anya Pilgrim________
    Sophomores:
    Skye Blakely
    Lily Bruce
    Ly Bui
    Taylor Clark________
    Freshmen:
    Jayla Booker
    Amelia Disidore
    Madelyn Dorbin
    Jocelyn Sasson

*Kaylee Bluffstone is eligible for a redshirt as she was injured and missed the 2025 season.

**Kayla DiCello took a deferral year and then was injured at the 2024 US Olympic Team trials. She is eligible for a redshirt.

Outstanding pickup. Thanks for the heads up before it happened.

Florida Gators - 2026 National Champions!

That looks good and is highly likely.

I've added eMjae to all 4 of my projected lineups above.

    Again, thanks for sharing.

The Kennedy Martin transfer to Penn State was so disappointing. She was my favorite volleyball player on the team. She is a game-changer and will be the best player in the nation next year. Pen St is like the Duke of college volleyball. They were already loaded with 5-star recruits, and now they get Martin. I have been hearing the rumors about the eMjae Frazier-to-UF transfer, but my expectations were low (I swear I used to be a very positive person, but recently have become a "glass half-empty" type). The news today is so great! We will be loaded with the 5-star incoming class, Skye and Kayla returning, and hopefully a healthy Lily Bruce-she was the overall no. 2 recruit in her class. Now I'm hearing a possible Riley return for her red-shirt year? I thought for sure she was done mentally and physically with gymnastics. And now eMjae! If they can manage to stay healthy-and we know all too well how difficult it is to stay healthy for a whole NCAA season- then Florida should be the most talented team in 2026. We also know all too well that this does not guarantee anything, not even a SEC title, says the glass half-empty dude.

    Party pooper! :)

I had been watching eMjae's Instagram for a month before this happened. gatorgym_pics gave us a couple of days heads up that this might happen.

I'm hoping Riley gets her confidence back for the beam. We know she is an outstanding bars swinger as evidenced by her 10.0 last season, but she can be just as good on beam. I hope Riley goes out with a bang.

Presuming both Kayla and Skye are 100% for the 2026 season, I can tell you now the Gators will be my 2026 preseason #1. I expect everybody else to put OU on their pedestal again. However, as you stated, UF will be the most talented team in the country.

I think your glass half empty is more about how CJR/coaching staff will use probably the most talented event lineups she has had at UF to achieve maximum results. I want to see pedal to the metal from meet 1, no Michigan State experimentation meets and no collapsing on any event.

The same will be true for the 2027 season. UF has 4 of the top gymnasts in the nation coming next year. To say UF is loaded for the next couple of seasons is an understatement. UF could be looking at a national championship run like 2013 - 2015 presuming we don't have deferrals after the 2027 season to get ready for the 2028 US Olympic Team Trials.

LOL! Edited for pedal to the metal, not metal to the pedal.

Yes, the new version which is why the coaching staff has such a hard time implementing the correct version. ;)

    Not gatornharlem,but..........

See post #28 towards the bottom of the post.

Kaylee, AKA Red, is infectious like Alexis Stuckey, but beyond floor, I don't have a clue what she adds. I don't know any more than she was a cheerleader for the 2025 season because of an injury prior to the season.

Yes, she was, and I was impressed with her attitude.
She is kind of turned into a favorite.

She was an amazing cheerleader but a season ending back injury does concern me that she might not be able to return to the level needed to compete. Back injuries serious enough to be season ending are more concerning. Her mom said she took a tumble down the stairs. I’m not counting her in any lineup spots until I see that she is able to tumble. There are rumors she is in the transfer portal as well.
