It’s hard to know who to trust anymore …

Five years ago, George Floyd died of Covid.

As of late 2020 the CDC listed 25 fatal hangings as Covid deaths.

At the same time, George Floyd was listed as a murder.

New variant more aggressive and spreading fast in China. Only a few cases stateside.

NB.1.8.1: What to know about the new COVID variant

Verma said NB.1.8.1 may be able to be transferred more easily than LP.8.1. Additionally, he said that NB.1.8.1 is able to evade antibodies created by vaccines or past infections more easily than LP.8.1.

"NB.1.8.1 is likely to spread more rapidly and evade our immune defenses more easily than LP.8.1, which is why this variant requires careful monitoring," Verma said.

Don’t worry! You can take a booster for a previous spike!

Nothing like causing unnecessary inflammation to the body. Trust me. @AzCatFan approves! :D;):)

The mere mention of a virus sends you into a triggered state of random rage posting. Find some peace.

Please stay the eff away from my kids and don't tell me how to parent. They are doing great by the way. 4.0 for the oldest at U of Arizona last semester and younger won student of the year at school. The chances of me taking parenting advice from you is as good as snow falling in Phoenix in June.

I honestly think you are surly a great parent. But I seriously would make sure you avoid having your kids take these shots for Covid.

I honestly think you're an ignoramus. People Is take pediatric medical advise before you include our actual pediatrician, a long time friend who works for Phoenix Children's Hospital Phoenix Magazine just named a top doctor in Arizona for the 2nd time, and my sister-in-law's mother, a pediatric nurse for decades. Not to mention, I'd get better advise from my dog, and the poop he leaves on my lawn.

And despite the CDC's recommendation to stop giving the vaccine to healthy kids, actual experts who work in pediatrics disagree.

University of Illinois Chicago epidemiologist Dr. Katrine Wallace said it's more difficult to assess risk factors for children than it is for adults.

"In fact, the CDC has presented data that, of children that are hospitalized for COVID-19, about 50% of those kids had no underlying condition putting them at risk for that hospitalization. So vaccination becomes important, because it's not easy to risk profile children like it is with adults," she said.

Wallace said, during the 2024-2025 respiratory virus season, more than 300,000 people were hospitalized for COVID-19, and more than 30,000 people died from COVID-19. She said the latest data shows COVID-19 is the fourth leading cause of death in the U.S., and is among the top 10 causes of death in children.
