He's an outlier with millions of reasons to stay at UT. He's not getting lured away with more money after the last 2 seasons.

Trask to Pitts is the only truly scary combo weve had in so long its almost hard to believe it could teally happen.

Trask to Toney was also pretty scary. Crickets since then.

Um, Toney had 37 more receptions and 214 more yards than Pitts in their senior season. And only 2 less TDs. Pitts played in 3 less games due to the head injury, but Toney was an absolute stud that year with nearly 1,000 yards receiving. We just remember Pitts as unstoppable, but nobody could cover Toney either.

toney was given the ball alot and expected to make play with his athleticism. Pitts could not be covered.

Not nearly the same, toney could get loose but Pitts was uncoverable. Pitts is a different position but a better overall receiver.

Pitts was uncoverable from the snap of the ball as Saban found out when he told his safeties to just commit the holding penalty for 10 yards rather than give up 20 yards downfield. Toney was however coverable up until the point he made his first cut and then the defensive back was totally out of the play going in the wrong direction or just falling flat on his ass. He truly embarrassed defensive backs with his jukes.
