IMHO a system out of control and will only get worse with the new 25 scholarship rule which allow equlivants. Add in NIL and you have a monster.

I know nothing about her status, but I think you are reading way too much into tiny clips

 

If it was jsut a one off sure... but shes been noticeably different in her demeanor the last few time she pitched also. Whether shes hurt, has lost confidence, or what who knows. This is the same arm that got us through the majority of SEC play. Soemthing happened there.

I exchanged an email on Sunday about the weather delay restart. She quickly responded with correct time of the first pitch. She also told me that Chris Harry had the Post Season game write ups, but that she doing everything else.

 

She was all shook up.

 

She's in this video at the fence.... not in the lab. Im not out to criticize Red or anything.... something jsut seems off to me with her.

 

Yeah, that's what I figured, but then I saw that huge hug from CTW and thought, ah that definitely explains why she was a straggler lol.

Fort Wayne and Cleveland State programs are being cut, so makes sense they have the most. Regarding Red, I just think she is lacking confidence rn. I would be very surprised to see her transfer, as her bf is set to play baseball at UF this coming year.

 

Thanks, I didn’t check to see if programs were being cut. Strange about Troy, Az and Cal having so many,though.
It seems with so many putting their name in the portal it is only right for coaches to have the right to not retain them if they do not get or accept offers. Does anyone have any insight into the portal and scholarship renewal processes? Also, what do you think more player movement will do to the excellent relations and unity CTW has been able maintain?
Another random thought, the cost of a scholarship is $70-80,000. Going from 13 to 21 will add about $600,000 to the operating losses the way UAA chooses to report which does not include their share of income from royalties, tv and other rights.

 

I agree, I think her confidence took a real knock at the LSU game (I think it was LSU), that turned into a real disaster very quickly and both her and Liv were kind of thrown to the wolves there, I personally don't think they should've sent Oxley out to relieve in that situation, it was hard enough on Liv.
I think maybe she had never experienced anything like that before and you could see how devastated she looked at the time, but I think she will be OK, her team mares and coaches will get her there.

 

I think that's because Ava wasn't expecting it! CTW doesn't usually seem that open with her, but I think the moment overtook him and Ava was the closest gator lol

 

Yes, I agree with the part I highlighted. She probably never has had to experience adversity like that. I remember Walton would always say he would have to remind Delbrey when she was at UF that what was working at hs/travel would not always work in college. He would always say she would have to work on her mental game.

 

UF is her dream school and according to her mother there is no place she’d rather be.

 

I don’t think it’s mental because she is very focused when she’s in the circle.
