Our side of the bracket is just like they seeded it - brutal! Clemson had multiple chances to knock out Texas in Game 2 and just couldn't get the clutch hit to walk it off. Texas is beatable and I think the Gators take Game 1. I honestly see Texas Tech making it to the championship series unless the team that drops down from the other bracket takes them out. And that is quite possible.

 

Unless they change the format this year, the two sides aren’t self contained, you flip if you lose the winners bracket game, or lose the first game and win the second one. This is last years bracket.

 

Yep - It's been that way for quite a while. That's why I said in my post above your that I think Texas Tech wins their bracket unless the team that drops down from the other bracket (ours) knocks them out.

 

TT seems limited offensively. An off day for NK and they will have a tough time. That said, she is amazing.

 

Very true. And it will be interesting to see if she can shut down a very potent Ole Miss offense. Same with Karylyn Pickins going against Oklahoma.

It looks like you only flip if you win the first game and lose the second. If you lose the first game and win the second (like Alabama and Stanford in your example) then you still stay in the same bracket (Alabama stayed in OU's bracket; Stanford stayed in Texas' bracket)

Correct. The loser of the 1-0 game goes to the other side of the bracket. It's been that way for quite a few years, I think.

 

We're gonna have to hit Kavan right out the gate. We have tough pitchers to face whether we end up in the winner or loser bracket. Gonna have to adjust quickly
