Assuming Vols a host lock.. that leaves 2 spots for about 5 teams. Tough call. I do have a feeling they give one to GT. acc reg season(didnt play 2-4) and Halls last season.
And Im including Ucla in that group,, they could be a lock , who knows. did just drop to 15 rpi, so not a lock imo. would give west a 3rd site, again shouldnt matter but probably does.

A little surprising on Irvine hosting, or thought of, but I hear ya.

 

I’m with you!! before the SEC tournament they were the flavor of the month and all Everybody wanted to talk about. Because they list to a top 8 team should not change that.

 

yeah I dont think any chance, but were a media host up until a week ago.. Maybe just making them think they were considered by waiting on them..lol

the B12 tour went late last year or year before,,but cant recall if waited on them.

Irvine would jump USM & DBU to 19 rpi if win. currently down 1 in 8th though

little surprised no GT.. first ever acc reg season winner not to host think I heard. but d1 guys say going heavy on in conf sos. so that may be it.

 

Didn't expect to host, but was hoping for GT regional. Instead, likely to get Coastal Carolina (good team, tough to scout, long trip), Clemson (good team, will be out for revenge), or Florida State (with a tissue-paper-soft Bethune Cookman in their first game, presumably)... or maybe even shipped out west.
