    Is that the software that he is referring to though? Not all software they produce is proprietary. They also produce a lot of software for AF1 that is owned by the government. Not sure what the F35 has to do with Boeing anyways.

    L3Harris doesn't have rights to the software, and the gov does not have unlimited rights on Boeing aircraft, even if we pay or strongarm Boeing during the acquisition, there is a ton there that they will claim as commercial since it's a 747-8. L3 will have to either Sub Boeing to work around the issues or bug the hell out of the AF civilians for support to get Boeing to help out.

    All advanced planes have propiwrtary software. Just so happens it's a big deal on the 35 right now because our allies can't trust trymp

    OFP, weapons systems, comms, nuclear tacmo, and stuff that isn't talked about in public. There is a ton of software on a modern aircraft, especially a military one.
