Sadly though Black Dems didn’t vote for here in the general so I don’t know that she would have been around too long in the primaries.

    Hope so too.
Maybe a third party moderate to leave the fringes on both sides in the cold. I think there are still a lot of middle of the road people out there. Ones that aren’t moved by gender identity politics from either angle.

Yep, Biden could have easily just avoided the question and deferred to the “primary voters”.

City was one of the biggest Biden defenders, until the debate, that’s why.

And some here passed it off because he had done a bunch of events and was jet lagged… :rolls eyes:

Biden was my 5th choice in 2020. He over delivered my expectations and was a very consequential president. His age was a handicap. This is a good thread.

Joe Biden is a great president (trigger warning)

It was 24 days. He lost support not the will to run. His inability to step down cost this country Trump. Utterly selfish. I don’t absolve him of that.

But he was completely fine mentally until when exactly? The debate? Some time around early '24? Some time in '23? Some time in '22? When did the mental decline reach the level it was disqualifying?

No idea. He seemed too old to run again when he announced.

When did Biden announce he was going to run again?

So he was too old to run again but could still function effectively as POTUS at that point?

Yep. I posted the actuarial tables back then for his age showing it was very unlikely he would live through the next term. Something like 30% chance he wont live much less be functional the whole time if I remember correctly.

I watched his speeches in 23. Seemed fine to me. I mean people were still cutting clips of Biden walking over to a parachute guy to say good job but then being grabbed by an escort to keep him away from the landing spot as proof he was "wandering off". It was cut so it looked like he was going nowhere. Same with air handshake. I watched the full clip and it was BS.

There wasnt evidence circulating in 2023.

Wonder how all of the lefties finally admitting they were wrong about 46's mental capacity will impact those last-minute pardons someone else decided to grant and sign with Joe's pen. They should be invalidated since he was unable to make those decisions.

He's not a vegetable, he's just not up to being the President on a 24/7/365 basis. There's a pretty wide gap in between. Let's also not pretend that Presidents are making every little decision - they hire and empower staff to go make decisions, and even though Biden had declined mentally, he still had a much more qualified, professional, and capable staff than Trump.

Not sure anyone has to read a book to verify that not only was Biden in a steady mental decline but that both the Democrats and Joe’s family did all they could do to cover it up.

I’ll save the $27.00 and if I ever want to rehash Biden losing it, I’ll just go on YouTube and watch the old videos.
