I wouldn't go that far, but I'm not really a fan of the orange pinstripes. The ladies have much better looking unis imo. At least the Gator pinstripes are better than the ones OSU wore recently or the vandy baseball team ones.
Agreed. But it is simple. You don't get a job at Liberty unless you are a religious fanatic and willing to force it on everyone else at the most inappropriate times. She won't stop.
What does that say about the Fagan sisters, who were so toxic to team chemistry, CTW had to let them go on the eve of the 2012 WCWS Regionals. Maybe they have repented! LOL!!
Can anyone tell me how to cancel a new “Post Reply”, if after typing in the box, you decide not to post. I have tried deleting the typing only to find the tying is still there when I check for new posts. It seems the only way to clear is to delete, type at least one character and hit the post reply button. Thanks for your help!
Post the reply and delete it by using the pulldown menu within the reply. I did a test before posting this recommendation. It worked.
Well, I'm having a full meltdown at work over this ticket situation. I was able to snag a set of tickets for Friday, and since I'm the only one going that day, I listed one of them for resale (at cost) on ticketmaster (103). I just rescheduled two meetings because I'm incessantly refreshing and praying to the softball gods that I can get my hands on two for Saturday without paying 98098 million dollars. Send help, please. I'll be the one under my desk, rocking and quietly crying.
Just release on floridagators.com, the first game of the Super Regional is on ESPN2 and the second is on ESPN. Both are 11:00 AM games.
There are plenty of general admission berm or plaza tickets available Saturday direct from Ticketmaster. $13 each. Gets you in the door and generally you can find no show regular seats.
Rick, Taylor was named Freshman of the Year from Softball America! You were spot on in seeing her talent.
This is what I usually end up doing. I just was really, really desperately hoping to get something in the shade ha. But in the end, heat stroke is a small price to pay for watching the Gators beat Georgia.
To say rickjs1 was spot on about TS21 might be understating it. Keen observations, bold predictions, and never waivered in his thoughts about her potential. Ironically enough, as bold as his predictions were, she blew right past them.
She did just that. Well before the season started I opined that "if" she got enough playing time that I hoped she might be above .300 with around 10 home runs and 40 rbis. I said she was a gapper with power but she has elevated the ball, with the same power, more than I expected. I'm going to repost a video I posted long ago. Some here have probably seen it before and others have not. Those that have seen it won't mind seeing it again. But it needs context. Before this happened I was already convinced from seeing her play multiple games that she was going to be a very good college player. This convinced me she was going to become a very great Gator. The Batbusters were in a tournament outside of Atlanta. They had played three games the day before this. Late in the third game Taylor hobbled, barely, into third as a runner and immediately called Mike Stith over to her. She was grabbing her lower back or hip. No audio but she clearly told him "I can't go" and he immediately replaced her with a pinch runner. The next day the Batbusters were in the quarterfinal against Georgia Impact. Taylor did not start which of course was very unusual. The game was in the top of the 7th. Batbusters up. Losing 3-2 with two outs and the bases loaded and facing elimination. Stith probably said something like, "Taylor, if you can crawl to the plate, we need you now." See the tall tree just to the right of the scoreboard and well past the fence? There's a gap in it about half way up. That's where Taylor put a grand slam to save the Batbusters. She never played again in the tournament and the Batbusters were eliminated in the semifinal.
