(SB) OGT: Super Regional, Game 1: UF vs uga Friday May 23, 2025 11 am ESPN 2

I would bet on Rothrock in the circle. Personally, I like the 11 am start. First game and the only Super Regional game going until the 1 pm game starts. In the evening there's a lot of switching around among games going on at the same time. Plus it won;t be as hot as it will be later on in the day.

 

Pretty sure ESPN/Disney set the times with whatever rationale they decide to use. Weather Underground shows no rain and hot all week in Gainesville.

Tiffany Greene is a tough listen. In the same class as Pam Ward and Beth Mowins.

 

Tiffany Greene to me is the toughest one to listen to but i'll deal with it. I hope the girls bring it this weekend and we get in done in 2. The last time we've won a super regional in two games was in 2015, all the others since then have been in 3 games which is crazy to think about. To me, the 2016 super loss was worst than the 2021 tbh. I fully thought they were going to push it to a game 3 and was ready to miss a family members bday party. I also thought that team could've 3 peat with the pitching staff we had.

 

This weekend could be a total slugfest. Gators conference ERA is 7th and not very good at 5.59 but Dogs are even worse at 14th with 7.02. Go Gators.

 

Based on that lineup of announcers , they believe Vols and cornhuskers is # 1 matchup

I really hope we don't get the home plate umpire from the 1st sunday game (game 6) of Texas A&M and Liberty. He had just a small tight strike zone. Was only calling strikes when pitchers threw over the white, no corners.

 

Which it's literally only because of 2 players .
Ou vs Bama is the biggest draw. 2 huge fanbases. And it's barely been talked about.

 

Even if we do make it to the finals if seeds hold we have a very tough road. Would be looking at playing Texas opening game and then either OU or TN.

 

This side of the bracket is brutal, other side, not so much.
