Do you think there will be some nervous fans at Davis Diamond (A&M) today. A&M has to beat Liberty twice. A number one seed has never failed to make it to the Super Regionals. Wouldn't that be something.
Let me expand on the above. Since 1985 only two number one seeds have ever lost just one game at the regional level.
Does anyone know why Red would not start before using Kara who has the highest era and why would you start her anyway? Did anyone else feel Keegan should have been relieved earlier in the inning? Should Ava be our number 1 starter?
The duo I like best is Keagan for 4-5 innings, and then bring in Ava. Yes, I do think Keagan could have been relieved sooner. Leave her in if she is doing well. If she pitches 4, and we are ahead, she gets the win.
Rothrock pitched great today. 6 K's and only 1 hit in 4.1 innings in our 8-0, 5 inning run rule win. I think CTW believes that if we're going to make it to OKC and make a deep run there, our ace has to be pitching well.
