I know the SEC Freshman of the Year award is based on the full season, and I didn't argue with LSU's Edwards getting it......but....if you base it on the Regionals to this point.....Taylor runs away with the award.

 

SEC Freshmen of the year is only based on SEC stats. Taylor should be the front runner for national freshmen of the year. I don't even think beachum from fsu last year had these type of numbers last year.

At least a very strong minority have been ready for two years or more. It is probably a majority now. Beth had the look of a dead man walking after the game.

 

Duke scores 8 in the 8th and survives. Has to beat UGA twice tomorrow. A UGA/UF Super brings back very bad memories.

 

Id file this under be careful what you wish for. Certainly underachieved the last couple of years, but has made the postseason every year at LSU and would have no problem getting another position if she wanted it.

 

Actually LSU did win one game in their regional, beat UConn. But yea, failed regional for them.

 

I didn't catch the end of the Arkansas game, but it must have been a major collapse as the cowgirls were up 5-1 going into the 6th and lost 6-5 to the Piggies.

A roundup going into championship Sunday. Nine SEC teams only need to win one game today: Oklahoma, UF, Arky, Texas, Tennessee, USC, Ole Miss, UGA and Bama. Four SEC teams need to win two: Auburn, A&M, UK, Mississippi State. LSU is the only Top 16 seed to crash out. There are five #2 seeds gone: FAU, Michigan, UVA, Arizona State and Northwestern. Of today's games there are only two 1-4 matchups: UF/Mercer and UCLA/Santa Barbara.
