Wow. LSU falls to SE Louisiana. Beth's seat is at least warm. For a significant number of LSU fans it burned up a couple years ago. The question is....how hot is it for the administration?

 

LSU in the loser's bracket after Game 1...LOL. They have a tough road now. You would have to think Nebraska is in the driver's seat in that regional with Bahl.

 

This is Florida. Don't say "gay."

 

LSU hasn't been to the WCWS in eight years but somehow managed to kick our ass. That goes down in my book as the most disappointing series of the year. The fact that I drove there didn't help.

 

The LSU boards are just brutal.

Blame her transfer on an avocado; she cut her hand while slicing one in her freshman year. However, if she doesn’t transfer, we might have not gotten Jocey to come to Florida. I believe it’s more than an even trade. I also wish Cali well in her endeavors, she’s a good kid.

 

I don't have any ill will but the truth is this. She missed almost the entire year by not knowing how to cut an avocado. When she wasn't promised a starting job in her June exit interview, she came out crying, and transferred throwing a tantrum. Her avg of .362 this year is good, of course, but her production is nothing to write home about. Four home runs and 30 rbis. I don't think anything about Decker would have scared off Jocey.

 

Wow. Duke and A&M are now in the loser's bracket and have to win three in a row. A&M in particular...just a shock.

 

Great to see Smiley back!! What's up with that? He's been gone all year. Some poster claimed last year that CTW had a beef with him, but never mentioned details. Hope his wife is doing okay, he ended up not retiring (after a pretty big send-off) so he'd have insurance for her.

 

I'm the first to admit that I pretty much always pump sunshine and think UF can pretty much do no wrong. That said, the water situation at KSP is CRIMINAL.

There is exactly ONE drinking fountain at KSP for fans to fill up their water bottles. The line is so long that you are going to miss a couple of innings to get water. The concession lines are much shorter.

I watched THREE women pass out at the game. One had just purchased a large Pepsi and was walking away when it was like someone turned her switch off -- she dropped to the ground like a rag-doll, smashing her head. I thought she was dead. Luckily, this was the concession stand by the entrance so the medics were on her pretty quick.

Another woman made it halfway up the stairs from her seat to the concourse when she passed out, dropping her phone which smashed. Fans helped her to the concourse and called for medics.

At Ben Hill Griffen stadium, there are huge water dispensers by Gate Two where five people can get water at once (they also give free cups). These are portable, not fixtures, so could be brought to KSP

Especially since UF stopped the free ice at KSP a few years ago, they should provide sufficient free water to fans -- before someone dies. One drinking fountain does not cut it.

 

Do they have those misting things like they do at the Swamp or AC busses that people could cool off in?
