I am so glad I’m not a republican these days. In order to defend Trump/DOGE you have to turn yourself in drooling babbling little dweeb.

How long until he gets a pardon because Trump doesn't think that government corruption is a crime?

I entered the workforce in 1980 and retired in late 2021. I paid almost $150K in social security taxes and almost $50K in medicare taxes during that time. Those taxes supported senior citizens. Those taxes were my responsibility to pay. Now that I am retired, I get paid social security benefits monthly and have Medicare A (hospital stays) for free. Many seniors have only social security as income. From a human decency standpoint, I have never understood attacks on this program. A note that I have an online account and it works, from monthly payments, yearly COLA increases, yearly tax forms, etc.

thats not how the government funding works. If the need for $9M wasn't identified until after the budget was allocated, then they have to seek additional funding to pay for it. They aren't free to just move funds around internally to cover it. So it's up to Congress to provide the extra $9M or reallocate the funding already given. Now fraud would be if they were given $9M to do the conversion and spent it on something else. I havent heard that was the case.

They're certainly very credulous. People who swore they would never trust a politician are now all in, unquestioning of, and uninterested in Trump/Musk's motives or agenda.

Setting aside the almost absurd level of irony related to deference towards the Congressional budgeting process on this thread at this time, it appears that the decision was made not just to do it then but not to ask for money for it in the subsequent years due to the fact that it wasn't costing the government enough to warrant the update. Frankly, you could make a fairly strong argument that whatever "fraud" is occurring related to this issue may be positive for government revenues, as it would likely be illegal immigrants finding a way to pay their taxes while not receiving benefits.

Bill, I can see that you agree with his policies. And even with his personality and manner. But how can you possibly claim he isn't proven wrong constantly? Over and over he says stuff that simply isn't true.

Sounds like they just ignored the IG findings which the head of the agency should be accountable for.

That was the case, however, the felon changed that 1st term by taking DOD funds to pay for his border failure wall.

DOGE and Trump are doing so well at controlling the federal debt that Moody's downgraded the U.S. national credit rating from AAA to AA1. Somehow, Biden had the Moody's credit rating at AAA, and then Trump came in and ruined it. Trump certainly is putting on quite a show. DOGE was tasked with reducing federal debt, but the debt has been INCREASING under Trump. How is that possible? Under Biden, the economy was considered "stable", and under Trump, the economy prognosis is "negative". That almost seems bad in some way.

Geez is this all you have to counter all the lies coming out now by almost every staff member and associate of Joe Biden lying to cover up Biden's incompetence. Today's news is all about Comey and all the other Biden liars and you guys have to bring up 34 checks & or ledger entries and call them 34 felonies like it was 34 different things.

Geez and this is you actually trying to suggest that Jean Carrol (twice) Trump U, and all the Mar-a-lago crap doesn't count? If the guy was a random neighbor.... you'd not let kids or friends around the sleaze.

Just sayin that 34 felonies is basically one incident but it does sound better if you run around sayin he was convicted of 34 felonies. As for Mar-a-lago crap as you call it. You've heard all the crap about Biden having classified info at his home and office but they didn't think they could get a conviction because of his poor memory.....LOL this was covered up well though because it was right in the middle of his presidency and they were all covering for the old man.

It's very strange how you think your attempt to will something out of existence by pretending something didn't happen ..... applies to other people.

Sorry, though, we live in an actual fact-based world. Where the crimes of your political hero did in fact happen. Reality.

Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break."
The Jan. 6 committee played an audio recording of President Trump's phone call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R).

"So what are we going to do here, folks? I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break," the president said

Biden was not handing out national secrets like candy at Halloween. If Trump wanted to impress someone, he showed 'em a national secret or two, or he raped them, depending on what they looked like.

Sorry, if you choose to equate the two incidents, you are simply lying to yourself and wasting time. I thought you were better than that. How twisted you must have gotten to equate them and also conveniently forget the other things as well.
