The problem with this comparison is that Biden didn't have two assassination attempts and wasn't shot on stage. People literally died. Law enforcement, in particular, are going to be on heightened alert now about anything suggestive like this about President Trump. James Comey, of all people, should be extra sensitive to this. Yet, in his hubris, it escapes him somehow.

 

It's being investigated as a criminal act. Surely you understand, that by deleting the post, he hasn't help his cause in this regard.

 

Ah, so the former director of the FBI meant it as a call to assassinate the president. It just never occurred to him that that would draw Secret Service interest.

 

It often doesn't occur to individuals that their behavior will draw that sort of attention until it does. He is so inflamed by hatred that it clouds his better judgment.
