What a crazy sport we follow. At the beginning of the year I would have bet my life that Keagon, Jocelyn, and Korbe were locks for All-SEC. None of them made it.. So be it for they had off years. Doesn't matter for this team has the talent and experience to win the WCWS. The journey begins tomorrow. Go Gators.
I have all the ESPN channels...espn+ is the only one I have issues with. Overall, ATT&T is performing well. Better than the Cox I used to have.
Today starts a journey that we all can be proud of. Our Gator girls have worked through injury, slumps in the field, slumps in the circle, slumps at the plate and other challenges. However, through it all they have kept focus on their team, they love each other they love playing together and they respect their coaches. I believe it’s all coming together for the final run. It’s pitch by pitch, out by out, inning by inning, game by game and series by series. This group can do it! We have so much talent on this team. Let’s support them! Go Gators!
I didn’t say at&t was your problem. Most issues I’ve had were device related. If you’re using a “smart” tv to run the app, that’s probably the weak link. Try an external device. We use roku ultra’s. I live in the sticks, have sub -20mbps dsl, and have pretty much no issues with the espn app. We use a lot of apps. We’ve had buffering/loading issues with quite a few of them. Almost every issue was resolved with a better source device.
Agree about the ROKU Ultras. We have them on all 3 of our TV's and ESPN app works great, as does Netflix, Prime & YouTubeTV. Every month or so I unplug the box and wait 15 seconds or so, then plug it back in. Seems to flush garbage data that has collected and keeps it working at peak performance.
I am not usually a brand whore, but we've been using roku's since we cut the traditional cable/sat cord and went to all streaming about a decade ago now. I didn't have great luck with the firesticks or chromecasts. I like the "box" devices better than the "sticks". Most of the sticks are better than the built in smart functions on the tv's, but I've just had better luck with boxes. There are other boxes, but I don't have a ton of experience with them. I know a few people using firetv boxes, and Nvidia shields. The shield is probably the best one out there, but it's much more expensive and is way overkill for your average streamer. I like my roku's, but there are definitely comparable devices made by other brands. I don't really mess with mine unless I'm having an issue. Just had to replace my main box in my living room, but it was about 6 years old. I factory reset it a few times over the years and that generally cleared up any problems. Started overheating, probably just a bad thermistor or something as the unit did not appear to be hot to the touch, and removing the board from the box and putting a fan over it didn't seem to help. I just replaced it and the new one is doing fine. I do keep a 4k stick in my travel bag, so I have my services with me wherever I go, and even though its not what I prefer for daily use, it works great as a travel device. My dad is using 4k sticks and likes them. I think they're a lot better than the original stick devices I didn't have as good of luck with.
We have a Roku TV with Hulu, ESPN, Netflix, paramount, etc apps loaded in on our main TV. Works great, and gets all the sports I want pretty much everywhere. Have a newer Chromecast with remote on a smart TV at vacation place which also works great. However we also have an older Chromecast on a smart TV which if not used regularly, won't work and has to go thru multiple processes to get going which sucks. Always happens when I'm out of town for awhile. Of course wife is more tech literate than me, but when it comes to streaming/TV stuff she bails.
You mentioned the ROKU’s. I agree, I can’t believe how much faster and better the apps perform. Here is a tip for Comcast cable subscribers, the ROkU, and possibly other devices has the Xfinity Stream App available. This is the like the app you use on your computers, tablets and phones to watch your tv and content. This means you can access all the channels and features via WI FI with out having to have a cable box or cable outlet. While you need to have at least one box, you can by a cheap ROKU and return the other boxes and save the monthly fees.
Yeah I know but seemed like Howard changed pitchers after the first ab. I was distracted and just hoping a pitcher didn’t take one to the face. Anyways a pipe under my house blew up so unfortunately enjoying day one of the ncaa tournament is no longer on the my menu.
Thanks but nobody is here but me and the animals. FYI it was a water pipe not a gas pipe (details important I realize). The laundry room, my closet and 2/3 or my room are drenched.
Because I know yall are on the edge of your seats frank gay is about five minutes away. Frank gay sounds like the lead singer of some yacht rock band doesn’t he?
