Is “severance spending” basically buyout money?

 

Hopefully so will quality. There isn’t a more unreliable worthless subset of hourly workers in this country than landscapers. They all suck.

Many times you dont know who they really are. We wrote some 1099's in the late 80's early 90's to some fictional ss#'s. You get stuck with thise taxes.

 

In TX, they all had llc's setup by a legal family member or friend and had their paychecks go to the llc. In some cases, the llc owners were predatory and would take a cut of the earnings.

 

Im an llc and get the entire invoice. What i pay may help is only determined by me anyway. I can use illegals and pay their taxes as my income if i so choose but if they are caught on my jobsite, i get the fine , not them. Illegals for the most part are working tax free and whoever gets the check is responsible.
