I wonder if Boogie is waiting to see if Condon and/or Chinyalu return?

Maybe not more enjoyable but I wouldn't be surprised for Golden to put together a more dominant team some year.

The 6th highest rated Kenpom team since inception is a pretty great team. If he does he is one of the greats.

Nobody saying we'll have someone better, but the 1, 2, and 3 spots, we might be collectively better.

If those testing the NBA waters come back and we pick up Fland, we most defineley might be a better team. I didn't say we'll do better, just be a better team.

Might is doing a lot of heavy lifting. The 6th best kenpom team ever. It’s unrealistic to expect a better team next year even if we win it all.

Nothing in basketball will surpass UFs first bball Natty, but 25 came close.

I began to have high hopes after the 13-0 start.

Kept building after the 14-4 regular season and then after the dominant SEC tournament performance, winning it all looked very real.

Of course whipping everyone in Exiled's regular season prediction bracket comes awfully close too.

There is just no way to say that. You may say we have higher rated players, but I think the team that just won the NC showed what a great team is. Martin carried us in the first half of the UCONN game, Richard carried us in the first half of the Houston game, and Walter carried us in the second half of every game. Not to mention Denzel stepping up all season long, especially when Walter and Martin were out with injuries. We have no idea how clutch these incoming players are, how they handle pressure (like Martin burrying free throws with the game on the line), how well they play team defense (Richard with the strip of Sharpe on help D), etc. What we do know, is they can't be better than this last year's team, which won the National Championship. How can they be better than that team? At best they can equal what this team did. Sure, the bigs should all be better, but that isn't enough to say they will be a better team, especially at the 1, 2 and 3 spots.

To be a better team they need to match or exceed the '25's team chemistry. Kentucky, Duke and others have had stockpiled better talent.

If they win the SEC, SECt, and Natty, that will make them better. I’m not saying they will be better, but if Fland comes and all bigs return, the discussion is on the table. How about if we dominate the field instead of the multiple come from behinds, would that not make them better? You can’t say there’s no chance of being better; however unlikely.
