Very true. At 6’11.25 barefoot and only 222 pounds, he’s going to get bullied more than not. Coming back would be smart from a development standpoint, but turning down a possible 1st round draft is a tough decision. I think it’s all about whether there’s a guaranteed contract, if not then it’s a no brainer.

It's too obvious of a pick for the Magic with Walt - he checks several boxes of their team needs at the guard position, and Lake Wales is right down the road.

Too obvious in fact, that the Magic will probably draft 2 6'8 wings who can defend positions 1-5 and not address their lack of a guard with range.

I will be glad when we know who is really coming back.
And...... what the team personnel will actually be.

Do we know if the visa / NIL issue is real or not?

The #30 pick get's a guaranteed $2.06M and $2.18 in years 1 and 2. If he's eligible for "full" NIL, it would seem to make more sense to come back for slightly less next year, but set yourself up for say a #12 pick and $4.1 and $4.3 respectively while also setting yourself up better for the golden second contract.

If he's really worried about injury and he isn't making any money in college, then I can see any guaranteed money being a no brainer...
