I made no contention, just stated that he often edits he own thread titles. I don't know who edited the title last.
It's a problem to seek balance politically on the board ever since Trump has taken over the Republican party. There are already conservative moderators but they aren't seen as sufficiently unbiased since they aren't full blown MAGA. Unfortunately, anyone who still embraces MAGA has long since shut off the part of their brain that would allow them to view anything through an unbiased lens. Our biggest problem, not only with the site, but more broadly is coddling MAGA folks and allowing them to conflate their feelings with facts. If something doesn't align to their feelings then it can't be true - hence the broad mistrust of anything MSM.
I've already unwelcomed myself from paying for the premium script. Pretty clear that I'll soon be unwelcoming myself from this board. Still would like to hear confirmation from @G8trGr8t about the title.
Like almost all media, no one ever seeks balance by adding an actual left-wing mod or voice. Their imagination only allows them to add increasingly frothing at the mouth right-wingers to achieve some sort of fake parity - the "left" is forever represented by some person who reluctantly votes Democratic because they aren't a complete lunatic. I say the MAGA mods stay if we get some real-deal Commie mods for balance.

This is more interesting (to me anyways) since I was literally called out by a mod for referencing (in a post, not a title) that a judge was appointed by Trump.
Happened to one of my thread titles in January and my OP wasnt even scathing. It was pretty balanced and then it got MAGA-ized. Crazy times.
My thread title just mentioning Tebow and Meyer involved in a questionable organization was sanitized. Its not even expressly political.
I can assure you the title was amended to add the "democratically appointed" narrative and I didn't do it. I did remove it

So was this you changing the title of the thread to provide your own commentary? It seems like whoever did that should provide a rationale for why the thread title needed to be changed (i.e., why it was necessary to add their commentary to the thread title rather than as a post under their own SN).

Georgetown researcher released from immigration detention : NPR Georgetown University researcher Badar Khan Suri has been released from an immigration detention center in Texas, after a federal judge ordered the government to free him immediately. The postdoctoral fellow at Georgetown University, who is an Indian national, is now free to return to his home in Virginia while the legal challenge to his detention continues in court. Suri is also fighting the Trump administration's attempt to deport him in a separate immigration case in Texas. His next immigration hearing in the Texas case is scheduled for June 3, according to Khan Suri's legal team. On his way out of the detention center in Texas, Suri said, "There was no charge, there was nothing. They made a sub human out of me," NBC News reported.
