Wow, feel sorry for the swing of emotions the cats and dogs are having. They probably thought they were out of the woods with the crushing defeat of the Dems but now this…

With these incompetent appointments, they will likely unwittingly destroy the departments to the point Democrats will be happy to eliminate them.

She's a genius pick. This is the woman running a major agency and she drives around with her emergency brake on....

“I don’t know how many of you have ever been out driving a vehicle before. You wondered what’s wrong with it, right? It’s jerky. It doesn’t turn right. It’s going slow. It seems like something is broke and then you look down and you have your emergency brake on. Anybody ever do that before? I have. You drive around and then once you pull the emergency brake off you’re amazed at how well your car drives. It drives smooth, and it’s amazing. And you’re like I can’t believe I was actually doing that.”

I dont think i've ever used the emergency break on my current vehicle. I'd probably have to look around to find it.

You don’t use your parking break?

That’s all this is. Most modern cars are pretty automatic or have automatic parking break and won’t even let you drive with the parking break left engaged. That’s with automatic transmission. Not sure how stick shifts handle this nowadays, maybe you still need to “remember” on those?

I vaguely recall when I first started driving I did this once, left the manual brake engaged. I drove about a mile before I started smelling burned rubber. I guess because the speed limit was only 30 I didn’t notice or the brake was already somewhat worn down/old.
