Sure. Small problemo: dems cried wolf and castrated impeachment of any meaning whatsoever.

Y'all really didn't see that shit coming from a thousand miles away?!?!?

You mean the mythical Biden crime family that exists only in the minds of the right-wing media, MAGA politicians and their followers? Once again, there has been absolutely no credible evidence that Joe Biden received anything of value from foreign interests. Hunter Biden did try to con both Ukrainian and Chinese interests into believing that he could influence his father. There is no credible evidence that he ever did and the communications between Hunter and the Chinese that the right-wing media and its followers have represented as a "smoking gun" occurred in 2018, when Joe Biden was out of office and the Republicans controlled the presidency and both House of Congress. Even if Joe Biden wanted to influence policy he was incapable of doing so at the time. One the other hand between the Donald, Eric and Don, Jr. there really is a Trump crime family and they have been receiving various forms of compensation either directly or indirectly from multiple foreign interests not to mention wealthy Americans who have also purchased a buy-in into the Trump crime family.

Why would he bother? All that would show, is BDS--which of course, doesn't exist.

Trump was out of office for years, and the TDS just picked up steam with each passing day...

    Lol!

Tell how TDS ain't a thing...

Funniest shit ever, and it never gets old!

Meanwhile, in reality, Trump's two impeachments were the only impeachments supported by members of the President's party, and, indeed, multiple Republican Senators that voted no on the second impeachment stated that, while didn't dispute the charges, they thought that his status as a former President meant that the judiciary needed to handle the issue.

But Republicans are perfectly free to impeach over this issue.

"There's no point in even having laws or a Constitution if we don't defend them."
    - (paraphrased) from a David Brooks column from weeks ago.

Trump has repeatedly shown that he's a criminal who has no regard for the law or Constitution. Trump supporters have repeatedly shown that they are fine with that.

This is not intended to be insulting, but what is the point of discourse with, or respecting the viewpoints of, people who clearly and repeatedly demonstrate that they have no regard for upholding the law?

The only silver lining to this, as usual, is that it is funny to watch the Trump supporters simply scroll past this thread and event as if it wasn't happening. Sad but funny.

    This was cleared through Bondi.

Wouldn’t she be the responsible party if it’s illegal?

    That’s the defense I’d use.

Obviously I left out misdirection and changing the subject as evidenced by 92 who refuses to address the substance of the matter.

While he likes to think of them as his personal lawyers and Bondi certainly acts like it, the AG is not actually a lawyer for the President. What he does is not her responsibility.

The check on this should be Congress (to punish him personally) or the courts making him abide by the law.

If Biden received a paper airplane from Qatar MAGA would lose their minds. But their scruples disappear now.

If congress doesn’t step in and allows it then who’s responsible?

I’m sure you see my point.

I'm pretty sure we'll see quite a few members of the Republican majority in Congress step right up to legally forbid this blatant corruption.

    Right?

(And when they obviously don't, it won't actually be Trump's fault .... because, umm, someone should have stopped his corrupt action.)
